They have been renovated to modern standards but maintain many of their old-time characteristics and architecture. The location is fantastic because you just leave and start exploring the old town. Almost all of the landmarks are within walking distance. Since there's a small kitchen you can also shop at the local markets and enjoy a quick meal at the apartment. Also, every morning a generous basket of pastries and yogurt is left at the door. Overall, this is a perfect place to soak up the local city vibe. A thing to bear in mind is that the hotel is not accessible by car, which can be an issue if carrying a lot of luggage. There is however a reasonably priced underground parking 1-2 min walk away. "

Beautiful lake view from our window and pleasant concierge staff. We rented e-bikes (40e/each) for a day and road the beautiful 26mile path around the lake.
