On my first night, I ordered a steak that came out rare, and they attempted to cook it at the table using a stone. However, the stone wasn't hot enough, so it took ages to cook, and eventually, I sent it back, only to receive an overcooked, well-done steak in return. Housekeeping was generally okay, but I found it frustrating that they didn’t replace the gowns unless specifically asked, and they didn’t mop the floors. The hard marble flooring meant my feet were constantly dirty from walking around the room. As for the staff, they were superficially polite, with a few exceptions, but overall, the service lacked warmth or genuine hospitality. Given the high cost and lacklustre service, I would not stay here again."

We went during off season and got lucky with a room upgrade. We loved the kitchenette in our room and balcony and appreciated the multiple cleans and touch ups throughout the day. The breakfasts every morning were fresh and delicious. The pool and facilities were beautiful, don’t be afraid of the temperature, once you’re in it’s refreshing. Hamza was great in finding us a great spot and sharing towels and water with us. We ventured off site for a few meals but honestly the hotel food was delicious, especially the pizza! The private beach was very convenient, maybe not the most beautiful on the island but it was nice to have the option. You’ll definitely need a car if you want to venture to nearby Porto Cervo, though it wasn’t as lively or interesting as we had hoped, perhaps because it was off season and quieter. There is a nearby resort town with restaurants, about a 6 minute drive or 20-30 minute walk. Overall we greatly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and plan to be back in the future, thank you to each person at 7Pines for making our stay relaxing and unforgettable!"
