- "Fantastic hotel overlooking Spiagga Della Conca Verde and the La Maddalena islands. Amazing rooms, amazing staff, amazing breakfast on the deck overlooking the pool and beach. They have there own umbrellas and chairs by the beach. There’s also a snack bar and boat hire place on the beach. Can’t rate this hotel highly enough. We can’t wait to come back. The service and hotel staff were great. This is definitely not a five star hotel. 3-4 at best. But given the price, location and every other positive aspect of the hotel it is a great choice. "

- "Dear iec and staff were great. Just lack breakfast lunch and dinner options. Breakfast could improve with more hot breakfast. Only a buffet lunch available which is very limited. Pool cafe only does sandwiches. Hot food or even French fries would be good. No fresh ice cream either. Dinner is a set menu with limited options. We had no chicken option for the whole week we stayed there. Also there’s only one restaurant in the area so dining is limited. So hotel should give more choices. We had to take at 25 euro taxi each time we wanted to eat in the nearest town. Pool and beach are lovely! Classic room was disappointing as the balcony was really a ground floor terrace which looked on to a big hedge so no sunshine or sky view from room for the money we sprint really expected a better room! - "Mangia’s have most things in place to receive 90%+ from every visitor but This is not Four Seasons, it’s mid range FYI. PROS: The location is stunning. The beach is fantastic. Breakfast plentiful and varied. Pool area is great. The staff are very friendly, polite and in most cases speak good English, a basic criteria in any European hospitality business. The facilities and leisure options are also very good; Tennis, paddle, basketball, football, kayaking, it’s all there if you want to use it. The gym Is very well equipped for being a hotel gym, plenty of free weights and machines to maintain your levels for a shorter period on holiday. Yoga and fitness classes free of charge. Kids activities as well. A mini train that takes you around the resort from 7-23pm. Buggies that pick up and collect you from the car park or your room with the luggage. Organised trips to all sights and places worth visiting at a cost, car hire in the lobby, pharmacy and a boutique. Even a local bus stop to take you to Santa Teresa with all the things to do there. Wow. What a package! CONS: There are no lifts, and plenty of stairs, lots of walking to do. HOUSE KEEPING: Non functional. It’s a certain to have your room cleaned daily and basic consumables restocked. It’s not working. Communication about all the amenities and things to do is lacking. It feels like they are understaffed and needs a big injection of organisation. Totally have the potential to be a 4*+ resort. Lack of dining options as well. "

The main advantage for us though was the hotel is just a short walk away from the stunning Capo Testa, which is the highlight of the area, in my opinion."

Easy walking distance to city centre, like 6-8 minutes or so. 10-12 minutes to the Rena Bianca beach (which you have prebook early if you want to go there for a day, after 6 pm. though its free entry for everyone. Parking was easy, behind hotel is free public parking area, maybe for 15 cars or so, but you can easily find Parking spot nearby streets."
