On my first night, I ordered a steak that came out rare, and they attempted to cook it at the table using a stone. However, the stone wasn't hot enough, so it took ages to cook, and eventually, I sent it back, only to receive an overcooked, well-done steak in return. Housekeeping was generally okay, but I found it frustrating that they didn’t replace the gowns unless specifically asked, and they didn’t mop the floors. The hard marble flooring meant my feet were constantly dirty from walking around the room. As for the staff, they were superficially polite, with a few exceptions, but overall, the service lacked warmth or genuine hospitality. Given the high cost and lacklustre service, I would not stay here again."

The private beach was very convenient, maybe not the most beautiful on the island but it was nice to have the option. You’ll definitely need a car if you want to venture to nearby Porto Cervo, though it wasn’t as lively or interesting as we had hoped, perhaps because it was off season and quieter. There is a nearby resort town with restaurants, about a 6 minute drive or 20-30 minute walk. Overall we greatly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and plan to be back in the future, thank you to each person at 7Pines for making our stay relaxing and unforgettable!"

Gino & Monica were instant family. I always felt so safe and taken care of by both of them. I had no idea how special this stay would become. Sadly, this is not true. The location, setting and architecture are stunning and on point. However, the decor (at least in the rooms vs villas) is very old school and without modern enhancements. The food is very expensive which is fine but I don't think it delivered given the cost structure. Essentially they force you into a meal plan or both lunch and dinner are set menu each for 200 euro's per person. We had a problem with our AC that took awhile for them to find a solution which was an oversized mobile a/c generator put in our room which was very loud. This is after 3 calls. I expected more from a service level on this front."

The food around the restaurants nearby was very expensive and not good quality. All the staff knew little to no English, unless you are an Italian, it is very hard to communicate with the staff, which was surprising for the one that claims to be a 5 star hotel. The staff was also limited and not helpful, for instance my family and I were trying to find a car to rent because taking a taxi was very very expensive, and the concierge working there gave us a very high rental price. I would not recommend this hotel. It would be better staying at one where beach or center is walkable distance. The private beach they provided did not let us stay in the first or second row, only the last 2 rows were for hotel guests. "

We stayed in the suite with the private swimming pool for our honeymoon and it was perfect. Hotel location is great for cycling, relaxing, very close to deserted sandy beaches and easy to get to the main beaches. - "Great little location lovely hotel " - "overall a great experience!" - "This is a beautiful, cozy little property near to the main attractions but off the beaten path enough to feel less touristy. It’s well taken care of, has a gorgeous pool, delicious continental breakfast, and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, I personally wouldn’t return because the beds are truly an awful experience. They are INCREDIBLY hard, lumpy and bouncy. My friend and I had literal bruises on our arms from springs in the night. Additionally, the bedding is terribly thin and too small to even be considered fully covered in the night. The shower pressure was great, but the shower itself very small, with doors that don’t fully close and leak, making a mess in the room for each bathing. "

- "We drove a classic car from Bristol to Sardinia and found this hotel on Hotels.com, what a gem it is, a fantastic location, brilliant staff, and lots of restaurants in the area. I did have an inconvenience, as the hotel doors let me out to my car at 3 AM, but would not let me back in, so I had to wait until 6.45 AM to get back into my room, which ruined the sleep during that first night at Baja Sardinia, however, the team on reception said that they would make it up to me when I checked out, so that was great. Back to the good points, of which there are many, Ricardo at the bar is brilliant, the reception team are full of smiles, and the team in the restaurant are so attentive, it is hard for me to be more positive about the hotel. I would have stayed longer, but they are fully booked, which is hardly a surprise, as this hotel is simply fantastic, "
