Only minus were the madrasses in the bunk bed, they were very hard. Thank you! We heard a lot of horror stories from other guests about staff behaviour. They point blank lie to guests. Customer service is not something they offer. This was truly the worst holiday I’ve ever had."

On our last day checkout was at 10 a.m. but our flight wasn't until 8 p.m. They kindly let us use another apartment and check out late, so our day was spent on the beach and not hanging around waiting for our flight. - "We had a really enjoyable holiday at Sa Prata, liking how the resort was small and had character. The individual "houses" in which the rooms are were lovely and kept very clean. The location, a short walk down to the local beach was almost perfect for us (would have benefitted from the use of a car though you can get your way around a bit on local buses) and the view of the sea from the hotel was beautiful, especially at sunset. As I was pregnant, this was just the kind of relaxing holiday I needed. The majority of staff made us feel very welcome and were really helpful, especially Francesca, who is lovely. However, we were disappointed by how we were treated by Gianni. Initially he was very friendly on reception, telling us what we needed to know and being warm, but this changed rapidly to be replaced by something verging on hostility, to the point where we wondered what we had done wrong! At times when we ordered something from the bar we were met with no words, just the item plonked down on the counter. I found his behaviour passive aggressive and upsetting sometimes because you want to feel welcome on holiday. A real shame because otherwise I would have said Sa Prata resort was a wonderful, perfect place. And there are many wonderful elements to it and like I say, all other staff were welcoming, incredibly helpful (even giving us a quick lift into the local town / collecting us when we got stranded!) and professional at all times."

Staff are friendly, the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, with very comfortable king size bed. The breakfast wasn't terrific, but it did the job. The villa is in a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful central courtyard pool area and a private outdoor dining area that we used frequently for family meals. The villa was in spotless condition when we checked in, and we really appreciated having beach chairs and umbrellas available. We took advantage of them every day. She was very responsive, and when we had a minor issue with an expired card on file with Vrbo, she was very understanding and reached out to us proactively to resolve it. Manuella, the local caretaker of the property who lived across the street was wonderful and sweet, and despite my very limited Italian and her limited English, we managed to make ourselves understood. Thank goodness for Google Translate. There is a coffee shop and a cute little mini market within a 2 minute walk and a friendly pizza shop just down the street. Otherwise, for anything else we needed, we just drove 5 minutes to Budoni and had access to several large, full service supermarkets, shops and restaurants. I really can't think of anything to complain about. Our entire stay was absolutely fantastic and we would happily make a return visit here."

The house is in a tiny gated community overlooking the hills and from the pool deck even the Tyrrhenian Sea. No noise from the neighbouring houses. The house was spotless and well equipped. There’s no need to put the dishwasher on after every meal, as there’s plenty of plates, pots and pans as well as cutlery. The Swiss owners (living nearby and very welcoming) have given it some consideration about all what they would need during a holiday and made sure it’s available in their holiday home. We really enjoyed the patio area under the sunroof in front of the pool; a cool breeze makes it very comfortable relaxing there. The barbecue was very clean and functioned well. During weekdays both a gardener and ‘poolboy’ were there every day. As we were there with older kids it didn’t bother us, but for those travelling with little kids it’s good to realize that one bedroom can only be reached from the outside … this in order to avoid misunderstanding. WIFI was excellent (even at the patio deck outside of the house). One definitely needs a car when staying in Sardania. N.B.: Silvia, if you want to add something to the inventory I would say a measuring cup might come in handy, but an empty water bottle can also do the trick. Beds in sleeping-room are good and also wardrobes available. The view to the mountains but also sea-view is magnificient because the villa is on a small hill. Spar supermarket on 800 meters for daily fresh bread, as also groceries can be done. 2x types of different beaches on 750 meters as also some restaurants in direct area. Anna was always so kind and sweet with our two children and we were so grateful for her offerings of strawberries and zucchini fresh from her garden. The house itself and the property are beautiful. Our brand new apartment (2015) with its own pool is ideal for groups of friends or 2 families with children (6 beds and 2 fully equipped bathrooms) who want to spend their vacation in a private and quiet environment (at the end of a cul-de-sac, no traffic) , We built this house primarily for us (and spend every free second there), and accordingly equipped it with high quality. The house is in a perfect location: approx. 2 km from beautiful beaches and a supermarket is within walking distance. The center of Budoni is also about 2 km away, and there are all other shops and services (shops, newspapers, nice restaurants (tips can be found separately), cafes, pharmacies, medical care and much more). For all guests, there is a free shuttle service to the various beaches in the season (bus stop 50m away). The port of Porto Ottiolu and San Teodoro can be reached in 5-10 minutes. Olbia Airport can be reached in about 20 minutes.

The owners are lovely and really responsive and helpful and did everything they could to make our stay comfortable.
