The biggest plus for us - making our stay overall excellent - was that when our flight back home got cancelled, they gave us a room for the same rate as our original booking. Many would try to take advantage of you in a situation like this, but not the staff of La Conchiglia. A few notes regarding parking / access: weirdly, even short-term (for check-in) parking is forbidden in front of the property except for one tiny place that's usually taken, parking nearby is possible if there are places, but is tight (and uphill), the paid parking offered is a bit complicated to use - would recommend the sister hotel's parking. If you plan to arrive in the evening, ask for an access code (all roads leading to the hotel are equipped with timed barriers). Finally, as the only negative: the hotel's restaurant and bar are not great for lunch / dinner / drinks - expensive, of mixed quality and with varying service. There are plenty of better options very close. "

- "It was great!" - "Great location in near the centre of town. It's up a hill though, so keep that in mind if you are not very mobile. The hotel was very clean, the outdoor and pool area was very pretty. You could go to the bar and order some nice drinks. Only pity was that you had to pay a fee to rent a beach towel (€3). The room we had was spacious enough for 3 people, and also very clean. We also had a big balcony. There is free parking in front of the hotel and on a parking lot a bit down the street, but also a paid area between the blue lines so keep that in mind."

The house is very confortable with new furnitures in every room: big living room with kitchen, from which you can access to the 60sq metres terrace with a chill out area to admire a wonderful Sardinian landscape. - "We had a wonderful stay in Dorgali and the B&B was fantastic. Grazia and Vincenzo were perfect hosts and when we arrived into Dorgali we called Vincenzo, who very kindly picked us up in his car. Do be warned the streets are extremely narrow and parking is limited, so we parked on the ring road which runs around the town. It took no more than 5 minutes to walk from there to the B&B. Once inside the B&B, Vincenzo sat us down with a glass of wine and in my case fruit juice and ran us through all the things we could do in the area. They provided us with a fantastic breakfast each morning, which included tea, coffee, homemade bread, cakes and on a couple of occasions delicious Tiramisu. My partner is vegan so they went out of their way to cater for her too. The room was spotlessly clean and spacious with a fantastic balcony overlooking Dorgali. All the ladies at Palazzo Cherci made our holiday really wonderful and enjoyable and were so nice to our baby, too. You also have parking options nearby, with fees or free. The hotel is in a beautiful area of Sardinia, quite close to Costa Smeralda and Baunei (with wonderful beaches reachable only by boat).
