- "Lovely hotel high up on the mountain side with an amazing view of the valley and Luxembourg on the other side of the river. The breakfast buffet was hardy and delicious, and the dinner one of the best I had in Europe! The natural setting was breathtaking. The infinity pool on the bottom floor has a great view of the valley, as well. The town had some fun places to explore, and it is just a short drive to Echternach on the Luxembourg side, which has a courthouse originally built by Charlemagne. If you visit the Waldhotel Sonnenberg, be sure to try their local honey. It is some of the best I’ve ever had! Available in the lobby. "

Due to New Years day, only had limited dinner choices (aspergus soup, veal ragout, trout), but the quality of the dishes was excellent. Same for the breakfast.
