The phone number to call on the website or through Wyndham were not in service. Fortunately I was able to contact the hotel via email. The early check in cost 50% of the stay. It was definitely needed to relax. Overall great service from staff, friendly and attentive. Breakfast was included with our stay which offered variety everyday, 2 free complimentary drinks in the lounge. There is also a fridge in the room with drinks inside that is an additional cost if consumed. I do recommend taking a picture of what is provided. Upon check out they tried to charge us for 2 drinks, which were never consumed. I did sign the bill stating that I didn’t not consume the drinks. Hopefully I don’t see a charge to my card or else I will provide another review. The location was great, across the street you will find various tour agencies you can consult, the plaza was well maintained and safe to walk around day or night."

- "A great place to stay with very attendant staff. Decadent food, a great little barroom and a beautiful fountain and waterfall make this an instant classic. However, the shower head nozzle was broken so the stream of water was more like a forceful jet. One window of our room faced directly into a stairwell and the other toward the hotel lobby, so there was no sunlight and we could not open the curtains without the entire hotel seeing into our room. The hotel was conveniently situated near the Plaza. When we checked out they were cleaning and we had to stand in a huge puddle of water while we paid. We also had to walk through a lake of water created by their cleaning to get out. Our flight left at night so they allowed us to store our bags (these were well guarded and everything was there when we picked them up). But there were no public bathrooms open when we came back to get our bags; they finally tracked down a key to a bathroom for us to use. For the price, you could find a much nicer accommodation. "

The location is perfect in the small town just minutes from Cajamarca. You can pay 80 cents to take a van into town just steps from where the hotel is located. The Inca Baths are about a four minute walk from the front door of the hotel and if you want to eat outside o of the hotel, there is an incredible restaurant called Villa Rica just around the corner. The food was some of the best that we had in Peru. The staff at Serra Nova are extremely accommodating and very welcoming. You won't regret a stay at Serra Nova! "

- "Beautiful safe stunning " - "I stayed here on my way home due to a medical emergency. The staff was very supportive and helpful. It's close to the airport and though my flight out was late they let me just stay in my room to lay down. They checked on me and made sure I was okay.
