The rooms were cozy & secure, loved the sliding windows overlooking the courtyard, the showers were hot, beds really comfy, & wifi super fast. Two small example of the attentiveness of the staff: they always seemed to know when we were out, which was different times each day, & took that opportunity to clean our room. And they’d leave a small chocolate candy on the freshly made beds for each of us. Another one is the night before we had to leave I’d asked if it were possible to reserve a taxi here in Chachapoyas. The staff member assured me he’d take care of it & the next morning at 9AM we had a knock on our suite door- it was our taxi driver. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here & would 100% recommend La Casa de los Balcones to anyone spending time in Chacha."
