The breakfast is incredible! Luckily all the hours of walking evened it out calory wise ;). Hotel Herbetet is located in beautiful and very quiet Valnontey, ideal starting point for many magnificant (long) hikes. I wish I could have stayed longer, this region is perfect for nature-loving hikers. The nice little mountain village Cogne is just a quick walk (or drive) away and provides you with cute shops, very good espressos, additional restaurants an a small supermarket. I will definitely return to this hotel some day (hopefully in the near future)!"
