The bed was huge and the bathroom had plenty of towels and handwash/shower gel etc. Although there weren’t many gluten free options on the restaurant menu, the staff were helpful and made me a GF steak and chips which was perfectly cooked. Only thing I would say is the heating was whacked up for winter so the room was boiling but luckily there was a fan in the wardrobe! Parking for over 24hrs wasn’t an issue for us on the main road in front of the hotel, but you may have more difficulty during peak season months. "

The Sandbar is our communal area downstairs. It has it’s own stereo and sofa and is a popular gathering point for party games, pre going out drinks and as a chill out area at the end of a day. It’s also used as our breakfast room.
All Smarties guests get some homemade cake and a cold beer on arrival. Perfect to unwind after your long journey and start your holiday.

Other things to note
There is a place to store your surfboards & hang your wetsuit out to dry.
There is no curfew, so you can come & go as you please.
A security deposit of £30 cash, per guest will be taken on arrival.
