- "What an amazing place, we have just returned from a fantastic 4 nights in Looe Yurts. From start to finish and even afterwards everything was 5 Star. We’ve never Glamped before so weren’t quite sure what to expect but it far exceeded our expectations. The yurts themselves are amazing, so clean and comfortable and with everything you need, although because of the weather we didn’t need the wood burner. There are all the bbq equipment you need provided and all immaculately clean, as was the shared fully equipped kitchen and private bathrooms, and lovely soft towels. We absolutely loved the place as did our dog. Away from the yurts the surrounding area is just lovely and lots of great walks plus lovely places to visit, Looe, Polperro, Seaton, to name just a few. The communication from Sarah both before and after couldn’t have been better, we even left something in the yurt and Sarah has arranged for it to be posted back to us, amazing customer service. We will definitely be back, and definitely a 5 Star experience "

A luxuriously furnished lotus belle tent in an exclusive private field with stunning views of the Wheal Busy tin mine chimneys, less than 10mins drive from fabulous north coast surfing beaches. Located along the North Cornish Coast within walking distance of both the Historic village of Tintagel and the beautifully rugged coastal path to Trebarwith Strand, this completely private Shepherds Hut is the perfect hidden escape.

Whether you are seeking romance, adventure or simply some time out, you will not be disturbed in this completely secluded location. Offering breathtaking views out to the Atlantic from the North Cornwall Coast, with its own private and secluded garden and deck area – you will be able to enjoy this beautiful setting inside and out from sunrise until sunset, being overlooked only by the neighbouring horse and local wildlife.

The Shepherds Hut sleeps 2 comfortably on a pull down double Murphy bed.
Inside the property you will find everything that you need for a self catering break away including, kitchenette, bathroom and shower room inside the hut. Once the bed is away there is seating for two adults comfortably – if required a travel cot can be hired as an additional extra.
Outside the hut you will find a secure, private allocated parking space for one vehicle.

The surrounding local village of Tintagel is a hotspot for guests throughout the year. The castle ruins of legendary King Arthur, sculpture and new footbridge are all within a short stroll of the property In the village you will find a great number of places for food and drink, such as cafes, bars, restaurants and tea rooms as well as a collection of both high street and boutique style shops. You will also find the Old Post Office and King Arthurs Great Halls which offer and insight into the local culture of the area. The sandy beach, Bossiney Bay can be found a little further from the high street and although a bit of a walk down to the peaceful sand, you won’t be disappointed as once again the views are simply beautiful.

A family sized bell tent on a hard standing base with a double bed and single camp beds for children. This tent sleeps 4 people (and an extra child upon request).

This tent is pet friendly so your dog can come and enjoy a holiday too!
Dogs need to be on leads at all times.

The tent has it's own separate small kitchen area next to the tent, housing a gas top stove and a fridge. There is a personal picnic bench outside the glamping tent and communal showers, toilets and a washing up area on the campsite.

Parking is next to the tent.

The bell tents at Penhallow cater for families, friends and couples alike. Each tent sleeps 2 adults and 2 children (3rd child upon request). Some of the tents are pet friendly allowing dogs on leads at all times to come on holiday with their owners. There are some great walks straight from the campsite.

There are 5 tents on platforms with their own private kitchen facilities which are housed next to each bell tent in their own small sheds. Kitchens include a gas top stove and fridge.

There are 3 tents pitched on grass which offer the camping experience without the hassle of putting up your own tent or beds. Guests need to bring their own cooking equipment for these.

Each tent has an electric point, useful for charging items. Tents have a picnic table each outside and a fire pit for the summer evenings. The campsite has a block of toilets and showers, a washing up area and chemical disposal unit. There is a small park area for children and Penhallow welcomes children's own games on site. Parking is next to each bell tent making it convenient for guests.

Penhallow is situated close to many Cornish attractions and beaches within some stunning countryside. Sunsets can be seen clearly from the site, making evenings around the fire pit extra special.

THE SPACE
Off grid wild glamping, often with views of our cattle out grazing. A lovely base to admire the sunset sky, cosy up around a campfire, and feel the atmosphere change to then be surrounded by solar lights and the stars.

Our petite site has just five glamping units, all accommodations sleep two adults each. Thus creating quite an exclusive glamping destination without overcrowding.

Safari Belle is situated in the middle section of our site and set back into the trees to maintain some privacy and shelter. You can check out our aerial photos so you know exactly what to expect with the sites layout.

GUEST ACCESS
‘Safari Belle’ guests have their own private fire pit area next to the tent. You will have to bring your own logs, kindling and fire lighters etc (which can be picked up at most local garages and grocery stores).

FACILITIES
For shared use with a maximum of four other guests during your stay - you have access to the shower, toilet, urinal and scullery room. The scullery is where you can go to wash your dishes, but you may also use your camping stove in here if the weather is rubbish.

**Strictly no use of camping stove or any other cooking/gas equipment inside of the tent**

🌿 OTHER THINGS TO NOTE 🌿

- The site is off grid which means THERE IS NO ELECTRICITY. We recommend you bring some charging banks for your devices, and/or the appropriate charging leads to plug them into your car. However, many of our guests like to embrace the ‘off grid life’ and use the opportunity to take some time out from their electrical devises.

- If you plan on cooking or making hot drinks during your stay, you will need to bring your own gas camping stove. Along with all pans, plates, cups, cutlery etc. However, these camping essentials to cook and eat with can be hired for an additional £25 on request, please let us know prior to your check-in date if you wish to do this.

There is a take away kebab van at the top of our lane and we also have a delicious local Thai that delivers to the glampsite ~ but you will still need to bring plates and cutlery! You will have access to the ‘Scullery’ where you can wash all your dishes.

- We advise you bring flop flops for the shower which can be left out on the step whilst you wash and dress, to help keep the area nice and clean.

- If the weather is forecasted particularly chilly for your stay, or if you generally really feel the cold, you could bring some hot water bottles to help you feel extra cosy at night time. We do not provide these our selves in case of accidental water burns.

- If very wet weather is forecasted we will ask you to park just inside the entrance gate and walk over to your accommodation. This will save churning up the field and/or potentially getting your vehicle stuck! This is a very short walk but do check the forecast so you can pack the appropriate items - waterproofs and wellies etc!

THE SPACE

Boho Belle is situated in the middle section of our site, set back into the hedge to maintain some privacy and shelter. This pitch is situated between the bathroom facilities and one other bell tent (which is also set back into the hedge so you don’t feel like you are too close to each other).

GUEST ACCESS
Boho Belle guests have their own fire pit area - a great spot to admire the sunset from.

You also have your own outdoor kitchen shelter, which is a very handy spot to cook and eat in when the weather is less favourable! It also looks rather pretty at night time with a mix of solar and battery powered lighting.

There is a shower, loo, urinal and scullery room for your use. The scullery is where you can get hot water to wash hands and dishes. These areas will be shared with a maximum of four other guests during your stay.

🌿 OTHER THINGS TO NOTE 🌿

- The site is off grid which means THERE IS NO ELECTRICITY. We recommend you bring some charging banks for your devices, and/or the appropriate charging leads to plug them into your car. However, many of our guests like to embrace the ‘off grid life’ and use the opportunity to take some time out from their electrical devises.

- The fire pit doubles up as a BBQ - Please bring your own charcoals if you wish to BBQ.

- We advise you bring flop flops for the shower which can be left out on the step whilst you wash and dress, to help keep the area nice and clean.

- If the weather is forecasted particularly chilly for your stay, or if you generally really feel the cold, you could bring some hot water bottles to help you feel extra cosy at night time. We do not provide these our selves in case of accidental water burns.

INCLUDED IN THE PRICE...

- 5m canvas bell tent, furnished as shown in photos.

- 1x bag of logs for the fire pit along with kindling, fire starters and a lighter. After that you will be required to pick up/purchase additional bags of logs (these can be bought from the majority of our local petrol stations and some grocery stores)

- Battery and solar powered lighting - electric candles, fairy lights, lanterns, and a torch (spare batteries provided).

- A basic camping stove with some gas canisters.

- Camping kettle for gas stove

- One frying pan, one small sauce pan and a colander.

- Salt, pepper & cooking oil.

- Cornish tea & coffee, UHT milk pots, sugar sachets.

- A cool box (you may want to pick up some ice for this).

- Plates, small chopping boards, cups, cuttlery, cork screw, can opener, washing up bowl and washing up liquid.

- Eco friendly shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.

- If very wet weather is forecasted we will ask you to park just inside the entrance gate and walk over to your accommodation. This will save churning up the field and/or potentially getting your vehicle stuck! This is a very short walk but do check the forecast so you can pack the appropriate items... waterproofs and wellies etc!

The Space:
Built with intention, K-Tents are stripped back to what matters. Designed for solo wanderers or quiet pairs, they offer shelter without separation from the land.

Guest Access:
You’ll access the full site as with all Kudhva stays—forest, quarry, kitchen/reception. The K-Tents are placed to harmonise with the flow of the landscape. A fresh experience.

The Neighborhood:
The K-Tents sit in a unique location on site, offering slightly different views and moods—but grounded in stillness, sky, and wind.

Getting Around:
Each tent is a short walk from the reception. They sit lightly on the land—arrive slowly, stay lightly, leave no trace. With facilities at the reception, everything you need will be nearby - however we advise to bring a torch as there is no electricity or lighting late evening.

Other Things to Note:
It comes with a futon mattress, fresh sheet, and pillows—just bring a sleeping bag or duvet. The Accomodations themselves dont have electricity or wifi within - any need to charge devices feel free to plug them in at reception during daytime hours.

We’re happy to introduce the concept or help with anything you need—but this space is yours to explore quietly, freely, and lightly.
