- "I gave 1 star to the conditions of the hotel (despite being wonderful) and I'll explain why. The room we were assigned was splendid when seen from the outside. It has a sand garden with 2 chairs, a coffee table, a rocking chair and 2 soft puff type armchairs. We arrived at the entrance consisting of a large sliding door and it practically did not open. This is because being rooms near the beach, the fixtures fill with sand and block the slide. They changed rooms trying to clean the fixtures but the problem still existed. Luckily my husband made an effort, he was able to slide it a little so that he could at least get in. The room is beautiful in all its components, just 5 stars. Second problem. The vater is placed in a small room and this is really good. The fact is that entering the room there is an unbearable stench of sewage even with the window open and this is because I am sure that the plumbing work done is wrong as far as the siphons are concerned. I'm sure if we went to other rooms, the problem existed there as well."

The hotel seems very clean, so I think it was brought by some unhygienic guest. I hope they can heat treatment the room so it can be used again. The new room did not have any bedbugs (I inspected the mattress). Unfortunately, I didn’t want any problems with carrying bedbugs knowing they were on the property, so I left to a more expensive hotel after one night. If they could get the bedbug problem under control, it would be a good property. They need to chemically and heat treat all their rooms, just to be safe. It wouldn’t cost them much to do this."

- "My family and I had the most wonderful stay at Caravan by Habitas. It was the perfect gettaway to brush off all our London February gloom. We all arrived as zombies and after a glorious week of Sahara sea and sunshine we are leaving totally revitalised! The hotel was perfect: beautifully designed, the food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere tranquil and calm. But most of all the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, particularly Mahfoud, Nassim and Hamid. The kitchen team is really creative, so there was a lot of variety. You won't go hungry there, believe me! Our rooms were new and neat. The vue was magnificent, we looked out over a large part of the lagoon. The entire place is built on high ground, so even when dining you can keep an eye on the wind and water conditions in the lagoon. We went kiting in the spot directly in front of the hotel. The water there was really flat and great for the beginners among us as well as the more advanced onces. We had a great time in this place and can't recommend it enough :)"
