No supermarket, choice of shops & restaurants in the near vicinity, no interesting sights in the surroundings, unattractive walking on the land side. Very negative: We had to change rooms twice during the first 2 days. The 1st offered ground floor garden view room had a moist scent and lacked sunlight. The 2nd street-facing 3rd floor room was unbearably loud from midnight to 4 AM due to a disco right across the street."

- "We were looking for a family friendly hotel to relax, enjoy pool and beach time, spacious and comfortable rooms, and discover a new destination. That’s exactly what we found with Djerba and Iberostar hotel. Hotel Staff was really friendly, kids pool fun and big, large main pool, and perfect indoor pool for colder days, beautiful setting and beach, lots of sport and kids animations like mini disco every night which our 5 and 8 yo boys loved. Food was very good and varied every day with local and international dishes. I recommend this hotel. We also took the time to explore Djerba in Taxi on our own (Djerba explore and crocodile farm 5min drive away, countryside Gedalla and Djerba hood, and Thursday market at Houmt souk). The taxis drivers are all friendly and honest."

- "We have good time, good food staff was lovely friendly. We hope to come back again." - "Solo age 29 canadian for 4 days, was looking to relax after a long trip around Tunisia. My all inclusive experience is one time in Riviera May and another in Punta Cana. Crowd: 90% old retired French people.. not a party or family hotel.. i was down for it as during the day it was peaceful around the pool to read. Oh and they play old french music all the time to satisfy the crowd, that sucked hard Pool/beach: Pool was fantastic very big and clean..lots of chairs available and in good condition. Beach is nice sand is soft but big oops tons of algae on the shore made it look bad (early october)..some other hotels nearby did not have any Amenities: Basic all inclusive activities but enjoyed the tennis as there were many courts.. but cant believe i had to pay 25 TND for a hour in an all inclusive.. cmon.. The big upside is the spa it is obviously the heart of the resort..much higher quality than anything else the hammam experience was amazing and there are so many options. Gym was too tiny/minimal Food/drinks: No free "à la carte" restaurant for an all inclusive is a big downside.. but the buffet was good always found something nice.. it is mostly tunisian influenced food which is good but not the biggest variety. Dont expect pork in a muslim country. Also drinks is a disaster i suspect the bartenders never drank in their life.. they were clueless on proportions and juices arent in the fridge..oh and they dont work with a bracelet you need to sign an invoice each time..?! - "Myself and my friend spent a week here and it completely exceeded our expectations/hopes. The pool is really big and perfect for a good swim around the palm tree garden, with lovely areas to lay on your sunbed - we found a lovely nook where we felt a good amount of privacy. The room was great - nothing extra special, but it had a nice balcony with a good view of the pool and it was lovely and peaceful. Not sure how it will be in full season, but it was very chilled out at the end of March! The other guests were largely slightly older - between 45-75 ish - and it’s not really suitable for young kids due to the pool layout, so it’ll this added to the relaxed feel. The staff were all great - very polite and diligent and some were particularly warm and friendly. The food was pretty spectacular - so much choice of both mains and puddings - quite dangerous really, as you just want to try everything!! Pretty much all the cakes are as good as they look, which is amazing! We didn’t have a hamam, but we had a peek and the steam room looks really gorgeous and traditional, with lots of additional treatments to choose from. The beach was lovely - I had been worried about other reviews mentioning the seaweed - it wasn’t a problem for us, but at other times of year maybe there is more.. Anyway, the sea is not the cleanest I’ve swam in, but it is great for swimming, with a lovely, gradual, sandy floor. Thanks Sentido Djerba Beach - we will be back! "
