- "5 start hotel with nice spa " - "Could not recommend this hotel more! We had a week of serene relaxation. The hotel is slightly outside the nearest town and not connected by public transport but the hotel is well served by local taxi. Fabulous if you are looking for a relaxing escape! Staff were incredible - polite, friendly, helpful, diligent (the list goes on)! No ask was too big or too trivial and someone was always on hand to help out. We were slightly late in the season so the hotel was quiet (no bad thing) but still had plenty of activities on (walks and exercise classes etc.) and live music on some days with dinner. The rooms are large, clean and well serviced! The spa is phenomenal… we went almost everyday and my fiancée loved her back massage. The pool and beach equally as incredible. The beach is a 15/20 minute drive away on a shuttle service (only a couple of options but this may have been time of year) but this is comfortable and timely. Food and drink options are plentiful at seemingly all hours of the day and we very much enjoyed overindulging at the hotel restaurant. All in all, a very pleasant and enjoyable trip - would certainly return to Almar!"

- "A group of four of us spent two very enjoyable nights at Casa Burano. Communication before we arrived was good and we were met off the number 12 water taxi from Venice. The property we stayed in was about a five minute walk from the landing stage and had obviously recently been renovated to a very high standard. The two rooms we had were very well appointed and the bed very comfortable. We liked the fact that there was tea and coffee available in the common areas and it was possible to sit outside in the sun in the back courtyard. Breakfast was excellent, about ten minutes walk away across a vineyard in the hotel/ restaurant building. We ate in the restaurant on the second evening and had a very good meal. Access to Venice is an enjoyable 40 minute boat trip away. Staying in Burano overnight is quite an experience as everything closes but still very atmospheric. We’d have no hesitation in recommending a stay here, although it’s of course not the cheapest option!"

- "First of all the apartment was extraordinary. The place was thoroughly decorated in a wonderful MENA theme in keeping with the Tunisian vibe in the neighborhood. It was a really remarkable place with great amenities including a full kitchen stocked with snacks, coffee, tea, etc and even a washer. The owners were also wonderfully helpful and went above and beyond helping me get my iPad fixed and even taking me to the bus station. I can’t recommend this place enough. The only negative I will say is there there is a lot of street noise but other than that it was a lovely stay."
