The staff here were friendly as they were on the front desk too, where they spoke good English. The hotel is located at the top of Palermo but if you've hired a car you won't have any trouble getting into town or other places. While we're talking about driving, beware that the Sicilians treat driving as an extreme sport, if you're luck enough to be able to see any white paint on the roads then ignore it, if there is supposed to be 3 lanes than they will make 5, if you're driving in the outside lane then they'll still overtake you squeezing between the barrier and the you, and there's no stopping and looking left as they approach a roundabout! Don't let it put you off too much the hotel is in a good location for driving to Segesta, Selinunte, Agrigento and Casale."
