- "Very clean and convenient for shopping " - "200 metres from the train station. Staff went out of there way to help us. Found us a local restuarant for one of our party that wanted to sample one of the local specialities. That also help arrange a taxi to meet us at a remote train station to take us to the Fukui prefecture dinosaur museum." - "Centrally located. Luxury feel. " - "A wonderful last minute booking: we had switched hotels from another one to this one when staying in Fukui. We needed a place where it would be right by the train station with easy access to food places and safe with a child with ASD. He would frequently wander and doesn’t speak Japanese, so we needed a location that would be safe with everything close by. The bus to get to the dinosaur museum was right across the way and the entrance to the hotel is tucked inside a really fun building (for the adults - to go find eateries). It was not easy to find the entrance, but once found, easy to get in and out at all times of the day. This was our favorite stay of our three weeks in Japan. We will be back. "

- "This was my first hotel in Japan. Great value for the quality of the stay. The location has plenty to offer in a walkable distance, including close proximity to the Shinkansen (bullet train). I staid here to be able to visit Daihonzan Eiheiji. The bus to Eiheiji temple is at the transportation center where the Shinkansen and other trains depart. The amenities provided were laughably garbage and insanely cheap. The only thing usable and not terrible were the towels. The doors and walls were thing so you hear everything in adjacent rooms and the hallway. The area around it isn’t great either. It has a few things but Sabae isn’t exactly a great area to stay. At least this is close to the local train station (50 min train to Fukui) and a 15 min walk from the main Sabae station (15 min train to Fukui). Only went here as a last minute reservation to save money, and it was not worth a single penny I saved. STAY AWAY"
