- "This hotel is steps away from the train station, but miles away in terms of feel. It’s a resort and spa with free onsen, snacks after your soak, free clothes washer (cheap dryer), massage chairs and more. The location is very convenient to the station and easy walk to the Nara sights. The breakfast buffet was great with lots of Eastern offerings and a few Western ones too. The whole resort is shoeless so be prepared to walk around in your socks or bare feet and check your shoes into a shoe locker at reception. :) We booked a double twin suite that gave us sooo much more room than a traditional room.
