I was so glad we decided to stay in this neighborhood, as it was close to many of the tourist spots I wanted to visit, within walking distance to convenience stores, restaurants/shops, and even a laundromat. Super clean, right in the very heart of Gion, super short walking distance to all the main attractions and sites, the traditional breakfast provided was a huge plus, we loved it. The room was very spacious, the biggest we had during our stay in Japan. Loved the shower room with large tub and that the showering area was separate from toilet and sink. Definitely the largest bathroom we had as well. Slippers are provided and ready when you enter your room in order to keep the floors clean and I like that the toiletries are provided downstairs so you can take what you need, and leave what you don’t. Efficient and eliminates waste. Staff was friendly and so helpful. We were trying to get a taxi upon our checkout on one of the busiest days and he was determined to help us even though he was busy helping other guests check in and out.
