- "Fantastic hotel! " - "it was only one night stay but it was the most pleasant stay as always. the only one odd thing we saw was the homeless lady was hanging around the main entrance at night. The next morning when we were leaving, she was still there deeply sleeping on the chair. She is no harm. Kind of famous quiet homeless lady in the neighborhood without any bothersome behavior whatsoever. But still it's not great for the hotel reputation and we worried about how tourists think about the whole situation. Other than that it's always almost perfect at this best hotel in KOBE. The room is updated with plenty of outlets to charge devices. I have always dreamed of staying at this hotel and I was not disappointed. When we walked into the room, my husband's first reaction was that it was "swanky". We did not eat at any of the restaurants. There is an area for welcome drinks which included sparkling wine, coffee, fruit infused water and chocolates. Taxi to the Shin-Kobe was about ¥1800 which was worth not having to drag my suitcase uphill."
