- "Stayed 2 nights with breakfast. Breakfast was superb with both Japanese and Western options. The view and spacious dining area was much appreciated. Single room was very spacious. While others have commented that the orange wood furniture looked dated, they are still in very well-kept condition. Probably because it was an international hotel, the concierge told us that the hotel did not have a microwave for guests to use. We realised that when we wanted to eat frozen dumplings from the nearby Horai 551. Location is very convenient and connected to the mall. Many other shopping malls nearby."

- "Best Hotel in Osaka, great room, great location in Osaka" - "It’s expensive - I’ll just come right out and say it. But nice things cost money, and the W Osaka is definitely a nice thing. Chief among my needs when I travel, particularly with family, is a QUIET room. Comfortable beds are icing on the cake. We were on the 24th floor and had an incredible view. It was absolutely silent at night and if I had died in one of the beds I would have been okay with that. I made daily use of the pool and hot tub on the 4th floor (I swam every morning and then relaxed in the glorious hot tub). One suggestion - 0630 is - little late for a pool to open. I would have been there at 0530 if it were open. But 0600 is when it should open. It’s a little silly that they don’t throw in breakfast given what I paid, but even if they had I wouldn’t have eaten there - after all we were in OSAKA. Employees and staff were top notch - they let me check out a little late on my last day to accommodate my 6pm flight back to LA. I should also comment on the location. It is FANTASTIC. I’d initially booked a different, much cheaper hotel until upon further investigation I realized that this other hotel, while quite nice, was on the outskirts of the city. Certainly one thing you’re paying for at the W is its location in the heart of Osaka action. All in all, I will definitely return. "

- "What I would want to know when considering booking this hotel: This hotel feels like one that would be booked for a wedding party. It feels very grand and high-end. The rooms are super large for being in Japan- they are sized like the ones at home in the US. Amenities were so nice we had clothing and linen spray in our room, a guest lounge with a full on kitchen with coffee and tea, a (clean) children's play area, and a laundry room. The dining hall attached to the hotel was fantastic! It was walkable to plenty of shops and restaurants and Dotonburi. I would without a doubt recommend this to anyone who wants a nicer stay than normal."
