Everyone at the Hotel makes you feel welcomed and taken care of. The food is amazing. The entire property is so well designed, with artwork everywhere, a beautiful open space lobby overlooking Ganga, with a beautiful tea cart in the middle of the courtyard, with live soft bhajan music in the morning, afternoon and evening. The sunrises at the property are marvelous! The property is a 3 story high, with a newly opened restaurant and terrace on the rooftop perfect for sunsets. The food is great! The spa is so tranquil, and the ayurvedic massages are just so soothing. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. I travel a lot to different parts of the world, and India too, and Pilhibt House is one of my favorite stays, at least in India. I love everything about this location. I cannot wait to go back next year for MahaShivratri! "

- "Very nice property at the Ganges, around 200 steps down but a steep climb. Food was exceptional and service as good. Very nice breakfast and great service standards! The rooms are not designed properly, even a hair dryer doesn't have a socket in the washroom or next to any mirror. Very stringent on their rules which may rightly suit them but can be quite hard on the guests. Adjacent to road hence even at night the cars sound etc is very loud in the rooms. Very nice bar and good cocktails offered. Expensive overall. Cant directly easily spot the ganges from the rooms / property however a little walk down and voila you are inside the river! We did an aarti at the ganges with all friends and was very scenic! Some of us did a yoga session at the poolside and was quite serene. Location is away from main city rishikesh hence away from the hustle and bustle. Taj Anand Kashi just 5 - 10 mins drive away."

- "Great hotel,very good and clean" - "The welcome here was so lovely. I was given complimentary breakfast and the staff were so kind. My room was lovely, clean and inviting. As a lone female traveler I felt safe and comfortable at all times. The hotel is conveniently located and within easy walking distance to shops at Laxman Jhula. The breakfast was great and the room service was swift. The food was tasty and healthy. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Thank you for a wonderful stay. "
