The staff were all very friendly and professional which added to our experience of the hotel. The room was a good size and furnished in quite a minimalist style, very much to my taste. The pool area was quite small so it didn't take many people to make if feel crowded but that said a pool in a town centre hotel is a nice thing. The breakfast was exceptional with breads & pastries from the owners bakery together with an array of meat, cheese, yoghurt and sweet treats to name but a few of the items on the help yourself buffet. All in all a very enjoyable 2 nights and we would certainly re-visit if we were in the area."

- "It was a bit hard to find initially as the signage was high up and couldn’t see from the car. Once inside, lovely and food very good." - "It's very convenient as it's right in front of the train station. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the main tourist attraction, so it's a bit far, but I can leave my luggage at the hotel, so it's not a problem at all. The room is a bit small, but the closet and bathroom are large. I can see the train station right in front and I also have a small balcony. However, when I went, it was under construction and there was scaffolding installed, so I couldn't enjoy the balcony. If I come here again next time, I plan to come to this hotel. The location is great."

We love to stay here when we have the chance to be in Alsace." - "From the moment we arrived we were assisted getting our luggage to our room and given info to ensure our stay went smooth. We had our dog with us so we stayed on the bottom floor because they had a grassy area for him by the patio. They also supplied a bed for him along with bowls and treats. He was a pampered pooch and we felt pampered too after a couple spa days. The breakfast was good enough but a little lacking for the later morning crowd as things get picked over. Early birds get the worm as they say! We did dine in the restaurant one evening and it was so nice to eat in the air conditioning! That’s something that we Americans fully appreciate! The food was very tasty. We also appreciate the free parking! The popular surrounding villages are 5-25 minutes drive from the hotel and we hit them all. Got our cases of wine and headed home. It was very peaceful and relaxing to sit out on the balcony and enjoy the scenery. We had a very pleasant dinner in Brasserie Le V. The food was good and the portions generous. One of us tried Les pâtes du moment selon le chef/chef's special pasta (very flavorable) while the other two had salads (La salade de gambas rôtie au thym/Roasted prawn salad, with thyme and La salade de chèvre chaud, magret de canard fume/The Goat cheese salad, Smoked duck breast). We all enjoyed our dinners and had no room for dessert. The next morning we had the buffet breakfast (included in our room rate) sitting out on the terrace. There was more than enough to choose from....fresh fruit to make your own juice....warm baguettes and rustic breads....eggs, bacon, sausage, carved ham...cereals, different kinds of granola with lots of toppings...yogurts...cheeses...smoked salmon and cream cheese with all the accompaniments....croissants and brioche, as well as numerous hot and cold drinks. Our only regret was that we didn't spend more time at the resort. It would have been nice to have been able to partake of the spa facilities and pool. We would definitely recommend spending a few days at Les Viollettes."
