- "Rudesheim was our last stop during our 2 week European vacation and we were very happy to stay at Hotel Zum Baeren as it was the best property we stayed at during our entire trip. We have bad allergies and asthma and the staff was able to accommodate our needs fully. The property is larger than it appears in the pictures and is located just a few minutes away from public parking. It's close to all of the action but just a couple of blocks away from it on a quiet street. We loved walking around the town day and night. We also walked to/from the Niederwald Monument and Eibingen Abbey for beautiful views of the valley covered with vineyards and castles. The staff was awesome and made us feel welcomed the moment we stepped into the lobby. We know enough German to get by but it was very nice having the front desk person fluent in English. She came out from behind the desk and showed us around the property and gave us other useful information on the area. All very much appreciated. When we come back to Rudesheim in the future we will stay at Hotel Zum Baeren without a doubt."
