I complained to omer and said they stop at midnight this was not the case and went to bed sleepless for 2 nights. 3rd night I made him call police who said they were allowed to play music til 1am even though the turkey government website says midnight. So if booking ask for rooms overlooking the pool as the noise goes from 10/10 to 2/10, which allows you to sleep!I was appreciative that he changed our triple room which was clean and large to a room with a cot bed and 2 single beds which was small but fine as we really needed to get away from the daily noise. Staff were friendly location is perfect and can request for bed change although our sheets were never changed! They didn't give fresh towels unless u asked we didn't ask but I thought it was obvious when the towels were dirty and left they get replaced but they wernt. The breakfast was ok no toast beans or friend egg. Always fresh bread but only so much bread and butter u can eat would be good if offered guests fried/scrambled eggs instead of boiled eggs every day. I would stay again as for 3* hotel it is what it is. The Pool Baby pool clean which kids loved, WiFi."

- "Just got back from a fortnight in The Selen. Arrived in the middle of the night, as you almost always do, in this area of Turkey, for the night receptionist, Ehat, greeting us warmly. We were shown to our room that we booked, (a 'family 2 room/4 bed apt'). And was then asked if there was more people coming. There wasn't. We asked if this could be changed and could we move into the main hotel. Ehat couldn't do that there and then, but come in and see what they had later on, after check out time. After breakfast,we did, and moved into the main hotel. Food is pretty bog standard for an All Inclusive in Turkey. Plenty there if you like that sort of thing. Its cheap enough to eat out if you're that way inclined. The pool was clean and constantly being tidied, and had a slide. Bar staff, were pleasant enough in the searing heat. Alcohol is the norm too. Beer/wine/vodka/gin/raki. Tea + coffee at breakfast + behind the bar. Fruit juice there too. The room we eventually ended up in was great as it was a sun trap for the afternoon. The cleaners were fantastic. our room was cleaned every day, with towels refreshed when needed. Bedding was changed every other day. The day receptionist/manager was really good too! Always calling us 'his angels', obviously his name was Charlie (LOL) All in all I think if I could get this hotel for what we paid, I'd go again, even if it was still full of Russians and Ukrainians. Most staff had some English, but not all. "

The hotel serves Turkish breakfast which is lovely and plentiful, there is also a menu for any other kind of breakfast ( English ect) The hotel also offers lunch and dinner. All delicious. I would say the only downside of staying in the pool view suite was the noise from the loudest of loud music coming from either side of the Doruk hotel, (No fault of the Doruk hotel I may add) I am sure they were competing for an award for who could have the highest decibel coming from their hotels, so if you are an early night person( before 1am) or light sleeper then try to get one of the rooms/suites at the Doruk hotel with sea view, as the noise level is much more subdued. failing that get some earplugs or don't sleep until 1.30am."

The pool is lit up green (of course... Gren Olive Hotel) on a night and looks stunning. Breakfast is plentiful Turkish with a huge selection. Bar food is tasty and reasonably priced. The rooms are like nothing I have stayed in in Icmeler before, bringing European contemporary chic to my favourite holiday town. King size memory foam bed, air con included, kettle, tea, coffee, water replenished daily. Fridge. Waterfall shower always with hot water and high quality furnishings. Safe in room. Slippers. toiletries all included. Blackout curtains and noise reducing glazing to the balcony. The pool has accessible steps, disabled facilities throughout the hotel, 2 floors with a lift. Small kiddie pool and my favourite ~ jacuzzi pool too. Newly opened summer 2025, I sincerely hope the guests here appreciate the effort and thought this family has gone to and respect the facilities offered. Way above the 3 star rating officially given, this is a gem of a hotel that we will definitely return to on our next trip."
