- "Serious safety issue – not suitable for families We stayed at Boho Breeze in Brighton with my young daughter. During our stay, she slipped in the shower and fell against a sharp exposedmetal edge on the shower frame. This caused a painful injury and bleeding, and we had to seek hospital treatment. This should never happen in a family hotel. The bathroom is unsafe, especially for children. I would not recommend this property to families until the shower design is changed and made safe."

Upstairs is the sleeping area in a small bedroom set in the roof with a window.
Please note this area has restricted height. For most of the area the height of the ceiling is 1.9m-1.95m, The but with sloping ceilings on both sides. Both the stairs accessing the bedroom and the bedroom itself will be uncomfortable for anyone over 6 feet (1.8m) tall. Please check the photos carefully
The bed is a conventional double bed with mattress (1.4m x1.9m).
The staircase that connects these two areas is significantly steeper than most staircases. The gradient is 50 degrees (Most staircases are about 42 degrees). In addition it is narrow (50cm) and the treads are shallow. There is a sturdy handrail. Please study the photos carefully to ensure that these stairs are suitable for you. They will not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues or for people who are not of a confident and adventurous nature. You need to use these stairs to access the toilet at night so bear in mind you may be using them whilst sleepy and/or perhaps after having been drinking alcohol.

There is on street pay parking in the area.
Most of the nearby parking is limited to 2 or 4 hours. However there is also longer term parking.
There are 2 options.
The closest is Marine Parade, The seafront road at the bottom of my street. This option is expensive. The cost is from £5 per hour, but free between 8pm and 9am. Cost for 24 hours is about £20. This street gets very busy and you may find it difficult to find a space.
A much cheaper option is Freshfield Rd. (BN2 0BJ). The cost is from £1.20 per hour but free between 8pm and 9am. The cost for 24 hours is £6-7. It is generally much easier to find a space to park and is about 5-8 minutes walk from the house.
In both cases you can pay by phone so you don't need to return to the car to top up the meter.

A uniquely designed and decorated fantasy suite. Unlike anywhere else. With beautiful decor, artworks, and custom created pieces of furniture that accentuate the total design of the room. The space
This suite is self contained and forms part of a 5 storey house situated only 5 minutes walk from the centre of Brighton and 150 metres from the beach. A perfect Location.
No Smoking please anywhere in the Building.
Please note the toilet is quite small.

This room is a unique experience. Imagine yourself in an exotic four-poster bed, in a grand oriental house, with a beautiful ceiling, broken to reveal a stunning midnight blue-green 'sky', resplendent with gold stars. The hand crafted furniture enhances the experience, as does the rococo style blue and gold shower and toilet decorated with huge oriental style flowers. There is a lounge area with a chaise longue, a dining area with side views to the sea 150m away, and a kitchinette (see details)

The space
This is not your usual room. It is something you will not have experienced before. The highlight of the room is an exotic four poster bed, from which you can gaze up to the beautiful oriental ceiling, broken to reveal a stunning midnight blue-green 'sky', twinkling with glittering gold stars. The furniture has been designed and created by the host using genuine antiques to complement and enhance the experience. The suite includes a uniquely crafted rococo style duck-egg blue and gold shower, and a private en-suite toilet decorated with exotic giant blue oriental flowers. With imaginative use of many textures, decorative styles and Tromp l'oeil effects this room will delight and enthral. The room has a huge original floor to ceiling bay window. There is a lounge area with a chaise longue, a dining area with views to the street and the sea, and a kitchenette with faculties to make breakfast or a light meal. It contains a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster as ell as sink/work surfaces.

Nineteen is a tasteful and contemporary, boutique hotel in a beautiful converted 200-year-old Victorian townhouse in the heart of Brighton’s Kemp Town area. We are just a stone’s throw from the beach with the pier being within easy walking distance. We are central to all of Brighton's key attractions, bars, pubs and eateries are just a short walk away, this includes the famous Pavilion, i360, Pier & Lanes shopping district.

The space
Our Double Rooms boast clean, stylish and modern design, with modern art prints, and have a comfortable king size bed, Smart TV, tea and coffee making facilities. Our Double Rooms have en suite shower rooms with Rituals shower amenities, fluffy towels and bath robes.

Our Double Rooms are located at the rear of the property and are located on the ground floor and first floor levels.

Please note: To maximise guest value we now offer flexible accommodation packages, with rooms available on a room only and breakfast included basis, and please note that from the 1st October 2018, all breakfasts will be available to guests off site at our partner cafe, which is located just a short walk from the guest house. This is available daily from 9am - 10.30am.

Parking permits for Zone C are available at a cost of £15 per 24 hour permits. These must be ordered and paid for no later than 5 working days prior to check in day

In line with our security policy, we require all guests to provide debit or credit card details ahead of arrival. Guests can call us to provide these details ahead of arrival, or if we haven't heard beforehand, we shall call on the day of arrival to confirm these details. Please note that we can't admit guests to stay unless card details have been provided.
