Parking is also free on Grosvenor Place from 6pm - 8am every day and all day Sunday.

Alternatively you can park for free at Tivoli which is a 10 minute walk away or Dreamlands has a paying car park which is a 5 minute walk.

The hot tub is available from 1st April until 30th September. Outside of these dates you can put in a special request to use the hot tub and we will do our best to accommodate you.

We don't wear shoes upstairs at Zen House and there is a rack in the hallway for guests to leave shoes and coats.

You’ll find a selection of games and books in the living room so please help yourself. A selection of beach kit from snorkels to buckets and spades etc is available on request.

Heart House is part of The George & Heart House, a 18th century coaching Inn in the centre of Margate, boasting a bar and restaurant that has been lovingly restored by owner's Kelly & Dan.

On the top floor of the building you will find 6 bedrooms, 2 doubles and 4 king beds. You will also find Reggie's Mini Bar, a communal space where you can relax, grab a cuppa or a nightcap and a Zen space for Meditation or yoga.

On the middle floor you will find our 2 bedroom Heritage Suite sleeping 4 across 1 x King master bedroom and 1 x twin room.

The Suite has a huge living area as well as a kitchenette with a fridge, kettle and toaster. No full cooking facilities are available but food can be arranged from our restaurant downstairs and we have a private bar space available for snacks and drinks. The house is the perfect space for the whole group to gather for that special celebration. All guests can gather in the Heritage Suite for Hen Parties, Family gatherings, Birthdays, Weddings, friends weekends away, you name it we can cater for it. The Suite also has direct access to the Stables Courtyard garden.

On the ground floor of the property is The George & Heart, our Restaurant and Bar as well as a front beer garden and more private Stables Courtyard.

This booking gives you exclusive hire of the hotel rooms and suite however the ground floor restaurant and bar will remain open to the public.

If you would like to private hire the whole venue for a wedding / corporate/ wellness weekends / in fact, any special event please let us know and we can arrange a discussion.

Guest access
This booking covers exclusive use of the Hotel and Heritage Suite, however usual trade will happen in our bar, restaurant and outside areas downstairs. The Stables Courtyard closes to outside guests at 10pm and opens at 12pm in the summer and it’s not used in the winter months so during these times it’s private for you and your group.

You can gain access to the premises after hours through the Stables Courtyard.

When booking the whole space if you would like the use of a private bar tender for a few hours or the night we can arrange this. You can party and play music but it’s not a party house so music from our system is all we can offer unless hiring the downstairs restaurant and bar for a full venue takeover In this case we can send you our events package.
