If you have a car or are taking taxis everywhere (nobody seems to walk in Indonesia anyways) this is an excellent choice if you need to stay in Mataram."

- "Lombok Plaza Hotel is the best But room not to big" - "We loved our stay in Lombok Plaza Hotel. We chose the deluxe room for a little extra and it was well worth it. We had a large room with King bed and it was away from the noisy corridors and people traffic! The open stairs does make the upper levels noisy but we didnt hear any of that. The breakfast was a wonderful Indonesian mix and very healthy. Coffee good quality and delicious little sweets! The swimming pool says it is open between 7 am and 9 pm but they start cleaning at 7am so you cannot use it until 8am! And then they clean again before 9pm!! But over all the 20 meter pool was great when we could use it! Position of hotel is very central."
