- "It was really a nice experience specially with family. Kids enjoyed a lot the option of lots of playing activities within the premises. Large space to move within the premises. Good food. Supportive staff. Only issue is approach road to the hotel. " - "This resort was a discovery by chance and turned out to be a beautiful surprise. We booked for 2 nights and loved it so much that extended our stay for 3rd night. Fern Hill Resort is located in Bhimtal, very near to the lake. The property is well maintained, very clean and has lovely landscaping. They have blooming varieties of flowers potted in beautiful pots all over. The interiors are also very nicely done. The property is only 5 months old and you would love the cleanliness maintained by the staff. Staff and management (Mr. Pande and Mr. Joshi) and very nice and hospitable, ensuring your stay is a pleasant one. Food is good and rooms have facilities of heater and coffee/tea. Bathrooms are clean and well equipped. The resort is located about 2 kms uphill and this road is a treacherous one. One need to be an expert driver to manoeuvre . But for people like us who love trekking and lazying around, this gave us an option to stay put and just enjoy the nature and the property. Options available for kids - indoor games, badminton, carrom, darts, chess, small library. Wifi was an issue in my room. Apart from that, I had a lovely and memorable stay with Fern Hill. "

However we were very much disappointed with our trip to Jim Corbett organized by hotel. We were given the impression that we were going to be in Jim Corbett National Park to see wild animals, but when we reached , we found out it was just a trip in Jeep in the out skirts. Very disappointing! After paying so much money we felt a bit cheated and when we confronted the hotel, the staff told us the area we went to comes under Corbett and Jim Corbett itself has to be booked 45 days before taking the trip. They should have told us this frankly and beforehand so we could have decided whether we want the trip or not. Furthermore, the cost of cab hiring for day trips arranged by hotel was more than double what we paid when we hired on our own. There were small hiccups about housekeeping like we had to ask for towels , toilet roll etc as these were forgotten. "

- "It was our 2nd stay at Property. Earlier we stayed when property was named "Riverside by Aahma". Now this is working under name "Bel-La Monde Riverside". During my last visit, they have "Cottages Room" under construction. This time we got upgraded in that "Lovely & Cozy Cottage Room". Manager Mr. Daud offered it on complimentary basis. Overall lovely stay, Delicious Food, Natural Greenry, River View, Mountain View. We enjoyed in Swimming Pool also. They have dedicated private swimming pool if you booked their "Tiger's Den Suite". Good Option for Kids -Outdoor & Indoor Game. Restaurant is also on Riverside with nice ambience. Staffs are really very co-operative. Only one thing to make a note that "wheel chair is not accessible all areas. Please ask them to allocate rooms in the area where rooms and walk-path are accessible by wheelchairs. We recommend 10/10 to anyone staying here and life time memorable experience."
