Nestled in the farms of Letibunga - a Kumaoni village at ~7500 ft filled with fruit orchids facing the snowcapped Himalayan peaks - Trishul, Nanda Devi, and Panchachuli.

At a ~600 m walk from the road, the cottage truly sits in the lap of nature with private tree covered surrounding areas, stone walkways and seating corners, offering what mountains call for.

The property is spread out in ~.5 acres with over 250 young native trees. The cottage sits right in the middle of the property while walking from one end to the other.

There are farms, trees, and village trails in the immediate neighborhood. The cottage area is secluded from the nearest houses at ~100 m walk. Most of the houses in the near vicinity are of native folks who are very warm and welcoming.

The cottage faces east with a wide open view of the upper Himalayan range on the north side. On a clear morning, the rising sun and the white peaks can be captured in one frame from the first floor balcony. Climbing up to the gazebo at the top only makes it more mesmerizing. You can lift some weights or do yoga. Or, you can just stay cozy in your bed looking through the glass window at the sun rising up the mountain horizon.

Guest access: The first floor of the cottage is completely reserved for our guests. There are two rooms - One is the Master bedroom with an attic, kitchenette, closet area, and attached bathroom. It can sleep four people including two in the attic. The other room, living + attic, is connected to the master bedroom. It has a seating area, book shelf, and a TV. The attic in the living room has a double bed and a small music studio setup. Both rooms comfortably accommodate 6 people with three double beds. There is one restroom outside at the first floor level. Guests have access to another washroom at the ground floor next to the kitchen area.

Distance: The property is at ~7 hours drive from Delhi/Noida, and 9 hours from Lucknow. 2-2.5 hours uphill drive from Kathgodam railway station. Roads are wide, and remain clear during all seasons. During tourist seasons, sometimes traffic runs slow until Bhimtal. We can arrange for a local taxi if booked a day in advance. Fare to be paid directly to the driver.

Parking: The parking spot is adjacent to the main road. A ~600m (12-15 min) village trail walk takes you to the property. First 100 m are the steepest: We can drop the needful guests in our car until that spot. From there it is ~200 m flat >> 50 m uphill, not very steep >> ~250m flat and down hill. Our team member/s will provide help with heavy luggage/s. We request our guests to extend their helping hands in carrying light items and luggages such as laptop bags, hand bags, bag-packs etc.

Food:
- We offer a food package at an additional cost that guests can opt for once the booking is confirmed. It includes breakfast, lunch, high tea, dinner and incorporates a symphony of unique flavours and local delicacies.
- We request guests to confirm their food preferences from the shared food menu at least 2 days in advance for a delightfully smooth service.
- A la carte is available only for snacks during limited time duration.

If the day is right, stay till dusk to see the moon rising while the clouds are painted in dramatic colors on the other side over the Mukteshwar hills. (Charges: 1,000 INR exc food)
- Spend the evening in the gazebo area over your favorite beverage. Have some fun time with friends and family playing Board and card games.

The space
A gorgeous house in the hills away from the hustle bustle of the city offering offering magnificient view of snow capped Himalayan peaks Nanada Devi and Trishul from the rooms itself. The fruit laden trees ( peach, apricot, pear, apples) and the chirping birds add to the charm. One can go for nature walks in the orchards, trek around hills, enjoy nature or just relax and unwind. . If required a cook / cleaner / helper can be provided at extra cost against advance intimation.

This floor is on the lower level and has 2 bed rooms( both with attached modern bathrooms).One bed room is equipped with 2 single beds (3*6 feet each - these can also be joined ), almirah, 1 sofa bed and a luggage rack, small table. The second bed room has a balcony, one double bed 6*6 , almirah, 1 sofa bed, and is equipped with a full fledged kitchen having mixer, toaster , all utensils, microwave.

Parking is free and can accommodate 2-3 cars.

In case of electricity failure we have a 600/800va inverter with a 100/120ah battery enough to last for 2/3 days. Power appliances like geysers, microwave etc. will not work. Mobile phones can be charged.

For safety and security purpose we have cameras installed.

1. We wish guests use this place as if it was their own.
2. Request not to damage anything. In case you find anything damaged/not working at the time of check-in please inform immediately. Please also inform in case of an incident. Any damage shall be chargeable.
2. Use the water judiciously as it is a scarce commodity. After using kitchen/bathroom make sure that the water taps are closed properly - or all the water will be gone.
3. Switch off electrical appliances after use. Take care to unplug chargers after your devices are charged.
4. Keep general cleanliness. Clean food droppings otherwise it may attract insects. Avoid any water stains/ marks on the flooring. DUSTERS ARE KEPT IN THE BALCONY. In case of any damage/stains on the duvet, bed sheets, pillows, blankets etc., a fees of Rs.2000/- shall be charged.
5. No raising of voices, vulgar/foul language, fighting amongst yourselves.
6. Do not do any illegal activities otherwise suitable police/legal action shall be initiated.
7. Visitors not permitted in the home. In case you plan to have visitors, please inform and take prior permission through airbnb platform.
8. More people found staying than booked. In such a case a fine of Rs.2000/- per person per day shall have to be paid.
9. Don’t make any alterations in the home furniture, accessories etc.
10. Keys- Take special care to keep the keys safely. Loss of keys shall be charged at Rs.2000/- per key and will result in unnecessary delay in opening the lock.
11. Carrying anything outside the house ( towels, bed sheets, utensils etc) not allowed.
12. Do not disturb other people / neighbours with your behaviour & activities.
13. GARBAGE – Please separate organic and plastic separately. Put garbage etc. in the dustbin kept under the sink in the kitchen. Please do not throw garbage anywhere else. Dustbin is emptied regularly ( depending upon mutual convenience – after 2/3 days) for proper garbage disposal. IF POSSIBLE GUESTS ARE REQUESTED TO TAKE THE GARBAGE WITH THEM SPECIALLY THE PLASTICS FOR PROPER DISPOSAL, THIS CAN BE PUT IN BHOWALI MUNICIPAL CORPORATION DUSTBINS KEPT AT MANY LOCATIONS ON THE ROAD.
14. It is advisable not to go for a walk at night. It might be dangerous as animals have been spotted at night.
15. Keep the mesh doors/windows closed otherwise flies/bugs might enter.
