- "Great location and very clean! AC in the rooms " - "It seemed as though no one was working there or maintained the property. It has a lot of potential but it was so poorly kept (dirty, no towels, broken shower, etc)—you could tell it was new/recently redone and the perfect location but the condition was unacceptable. " - "This place has an amazing location, but that is the only positive. The showers don't drain, so there is standing water everywhere attracting mosquitoes. Staff was rude. The mixed dorm was where laundry was stored so staff would come in and turn the lights on at 11:30. The owner also turned the lights on and gave a tour to friends (?) while I was sleeping. The owner is also known for being a creep to women. There is no kitchen; a hot plate and one beat up pan is all that's provided, not even plates/utensils etc. The toilets don't flush. I woke up with sores on my back in the shape of the springs on the bed. It's located in the back of a restaurant, so anyone from the restaurant can and does enter the hostel. Common space is used for storage by locals. Wifi only worked in the courtyard, not inside. The "free surfboards" were missing fins. There is one sink in the whole place, so it is often clogged with food waste. There were great people to meet, but we bonded over how terrible our experience at this hostel was. "

La Piña is a small boutique hotel located in Rincon, Puerto Rico that comes complete with many amenities and is within walking distance to many activities such as direct beach access, a swimming pool, snorkeling, fishing, BBQ area, and outdoor kitchen. There is a beautiful rooftop sunset deck with tabletop fire pits for those perfect evenings. Play a game of corn hole with your friends or just relax on a lounger and take in the ocean breeze. In addition, we are less than a 5-minute drive from the main town, other beaches and local attractions. (don't miss the famous Rincon Art in the Pueblo every Thursday night or the local farmers market on Sunday mornings) For the more adventurous you can also walk to many of the local restaurants/coffee shops or the food truck park within 10-15 minutes! The hotel is located less than 100 feet from one of Rincon's most quiet and secluded beaches perfect for swimming, snorkeling, or taking in that perfect sunset! Dive lessons are also available right at the beach by reservation. Better yet reserve a massage on the Beach or at the Hotel! All rooms come with beach/pool towels, beach chairs, and umbrellas. Rincon Dive shop is just around the corner with rentals including bicycles, snorkeling gear, and dive lessons.

During your stay, you will have access to all the amenities at La Piña including a swimming pool, outdoor patio with loungers and umbrellas, Outdoor kitchen and BBQ, and our favorite feature the rooftop sunset deck with fire pits. Or grab our complimentary beach chairs, towels, and umbrella and head to the sand! (Blue and White striped towels are for pool and beach use please leave grey towels in your room) Your room includes a complete kitchenette with a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker (FRESH local Puerto Rican coffee included), electric hot plate, and all necessary pots, pans, plates, and utensils. Laundry room and laundry is free to use and laundry soap is included. In addition, all rooms come with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap.

Other things to note
Blue and white towels are for pool and beach use. Please leave grey towels in the room for showering and bathing. Please use the foot wash by the front entrance or one of the two outdoor public showers to rinse off the sand before getting into the pool. All kitchens have cleaning supplies under the sink and a fire extinguisher. First aid kits are located under the bathroom sink and a large first aid kit is located in the laundry mounted on the wall by the door.

We are on the beach where you should be... This studio sleeps up to two guests that are looking for a getaway steps away from Sandy Beach, Rincón. It is equipped with a Queen bed, coffee maker, stocked mini fridge, microwave, single induction cooktop and basic cookware, Smart TV with access to your streaming channels accounts, and a private Wifi Network. Guests of the patio studios will have access to the shared pool and green areas enabled for their enjoyment and relaxation.

The space
Tamboo Beside The Pointe is a beachfront hotel, that means spending the day at the beautiful Sandy Beach and then relaxing on the terrace while enjoying the sunset. Our seaside grill restaurant is located onsite as well as our #1 Beach Bar in The Caribbean (USA Today 2018) where guests can unwind with a drink and enjoy the fresh ocean air. Restaurant operating schedule is Thursday to Monday from 12pm-9pm on a walk-in basis only with last seating for dinner at 8pm.

We have a power generator and a water cistern in case of electricity or water failure.

*PLEASE NOTE that Airbnb only charges guests 7% of occupancy taxes in the reservation.
