- "Fabulous " - "This place was amazing!!! Set right on Sandy Beach. Seas were surf ready which we weren't expecting but it was very entertaining & we loved hearing the waves at night. You couldn't swim but the weather was nice enough to just get our feet wet. Never had any night noise that kept us awake. Loved walking the beach in the morning. Surf trailer rental is in lot next door. No problems w that either. Pkg was tight bc w had a mini van but very doable. If cooking make sure to bring spices/condiments as none are in unit. Beds were very comfortable & water pressure was great! Loved having 3rd floor deck w views over palm trees to ocean. Great little gift shop across the street. Had great dinner in downtown on 1st night at Capriccio Trattoria after quickly walking thru Art Walk, as we were running late. It took us 3+ hrs to get in from San Juan bc there was so much traffic! Didn't make it to those caves on way buy highly recommend you take the time to go to them. One of the most beautiful places in the world along the cliff/beach areas. We did this on our way back to SJ/Laquillo area."

- "For starters, the photo implies a single family house. It's a quad..4 attached units. The AC in one of the bedrooms was broken. Marco couldn't get a tech during our stay but he brought a stand fan, so we had to sleep with doors open to cool said bedroom. Pool area is under construction, but open. Other than that, fine location, great amenities." - "We were so impressed with everything about this villa and the location! We divided our trip and spent 3 days on the east side and 4 on the west. This was hands down the best place! The beach is beautiful and just a short walk across the lawn to access. The entire property is well kept and secure. Marco was the “host with the most”! He sent us links to places in the area to visit and tips on surfing beaches, water quality, etc. The villa was so clean and well appointed-they really have thought of everything! I’m not sure when or if we will return to Puerto Rico-but we would definitely stay here again!"

With the sunset town of Rincon becoming so popular over these last few years it is truly a pleasure to have a place we can call home away from all the crowds and cars. We are located in Rincon close to Aguada which provides guests the experience to enjoy the this famous surf town while providing a place inside a 145 acre private community with it's own secluded beach, pool, exercise room, tennis, pickleball and basketball courts (tennis rackets, balls & basketball provided-bring your pickleball stuff) all located at the water's edge down a nearly mile long driveway from the street (Rt. 115). Our beach-front home is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between each vacation stay. Our vacation home contains a master (king-sized bed) boasting excellent ocean/beach views and private bathroom with a large walk-through closet/changing area. The second bedroom (also a king-sized bed) boasts the identical great ocean views and doubles as a 'second' master bedroom. The third bedroom for the children consists of two sets of bunk beds (4 twin-size beds). There is enough sleeping accommodations for your entire vacationing families where 2 couples can have their own rooms and the children have their own bunk-beds. Outside the master bedroom/bath suite there is a full hallway bathroom, linen closet and laundry room. Front-loading stainless steel washer (w/ detergent) and dryer are present. The ground floor consists of an overly-sized living room, dining room with views of the ocean along with the den/TV room. The kitchen is very large and well-equipped with all the necessary cooking and bake ware you'll need including a 12 piece of upper-quality Gotham Steel cookware set. The kitchen is also equipped with an ECHO SHOW with UN-LIMITED PRIME MUSIC. You can listen to any song you want, including complete albums of your favorite bands and artists. So much better than a simple CD player or a static-e radio. There are hotel-quality towels for bathing and the beach provided. The den contains a 50 inch 4K UHD Smart television, Amazon Prime, YouTube, etc. Bring your user names and passwords. Wi-Fi is provided inside the entire villa and first and third floor patios as three Eero wi-fi extenders keep you in touch back home or for business. The third floor patio is partially covered and provides seating for 8 around the bar-height dining table to enjoy the beautiful sunsets of Rincon (best in the summer months). Two-thirds of the patio is open to the sun and is terrific for star gazing. Our large palm tree provides shade when relaxing on the outdoor sofa & lounge furniture while enjoying views of the ocean. There are also a couple of chaise lounges for those who can't get enough sun. Wear sunscreen, the Caribbean sun is indeed strong. These chaise lounges are also great to spend a night sleeping outside underneath the stars while listening to the gentle sounds of the ocean. A light blanket from the hallway closet and pillow will be all that you need for possibly the best slumber of your life (we have personally experienced this ourselves). There is also a first floor patio for barbequing. Large rooms and plenty of sleeping areas along with terrific views of this ocean/beach-front villa makes this property truly unique. Our 3rd floor patio was voted the best of views by residents of the community as unparalleled views of the ocean are provided from there. Surfers take to the ocean right in front of our complex as there are 3 'breaks' present.
The vacation home is located inside the 145 acre, man-gated private community of Punta del Mar Beach Village where you and your loved ones will experience rest and relaxation, quiet times and tranquility, cleanliness of our home along with peace of mind that your children are safe and close-by. The season tide pool allows for younger ones to swim without the worry of big waves crashing at the shore. There are a couple of good-quality boogie boards for your enjoyment. The villa is located along some of the best areas of beach for sea-glass collecting which the children will love to bring back home to show their friends. Strolling along the beach towards the sunset to well-known restaurants such as Casa Islena and Tamboo for lunch or dinner are short 10-15 minute walks respectively. Located on the northern side of Rincon, east of Sandy beach, provides the terrific surf which has made Rincon the tourist attraction it has become. The village at Punta del Mar provides the relaxation for a well-deserved vacation while still being close to the vacationing hot-spots. Like to walk/jog? Villa Oceana consists of two spacious floors with tropical colonial decoration. On the first floor you will find; a kitchenette (with mini fridge, microwave, toaster oven, toaster, coffee maker, espresso machine, dishes, cups, glasses, wine glasses and silverware), a dining table for four people, a working desk, a sofa bed and a full bathroom.

Enjoy the backyard's ocean view, surrounded by lush foliage. Unwind by the private plunge pool, equipped with two lounge chairs, an umbrella, and a bar table with two stools. Immerse yourself in the soothing sounds of crashing waves, singing birds and the enchanting chorus of coquis at night. Beneath a majestic mango tree, witness the night sky adorned with sparkling stars.

On the second floor is the master bedroom with a king size bed and en-suite bathroom with a free standing tub and separate shower all covered in Carrara marble. There is also a space to sit and relax, read a book or listen to music.

There are 2 beach chairs, a small cooler and beach towels available for guests to use. Please wash (rinse with water) the beach chairs and cooler after using them so that future guests can also enjoy them. There is a water nozzle in the backyard.

TV: There is a Smart TV connected to wifi. Main Apps are downloaded. Many free channels through the Samsung TV Plus App. There is no Cable TV.

There is a generator that covers the entire complex in case of a power failure.

IMPORTANT: The front door locks automatically when you close it. Keep keys with you every time you go out.

*Strictly no pets or smoking allowed on property at any time. A $500 fine will be charged if violated and you will be expelled from the property.

*Quiet hours from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am.

*Don't sit on sofas, beds or furniture with wet bathing suits.

*Don't share the lock box code with anyone.

*Keep all furniture and accessories in its place. Don't place hot or wet cups, bottles or cans on tables or night stands, they tend to damage easily.

*Don't use towels or linens to clean any spill or makeup. Stained towels and linens will be charged.

*Please turn off all air conditioners when away for long periods of time, also when you check out. Utilities in PR are very expensive.

*Please throw away garbage from kitchen and bathrooms when you check out. The garbage cans are right outside at the entrance of the complex

The Space:
Casa del Sol is a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom villa. We call it the ultimate surfer's retreat. Its ambiance, decor, and character truly define the Rincon lifestyle. If you are looking to relax, experience breathtaking sunsets, and panoramic views, enjoy quiet surroundings and still have all the fun and action Rincón has to offer then this is the place for you! You will appreciate being off the main road and having the tranquility of a house on a cul-de-sac. The villa is a short drive away from secluded beaches where you can experience calm waters in the Summer and world-class surfing during the Winter season. One of our guest's favorites is Sandy Beach, just a 2-minute drive. Come stay at Casa del Sol and find your zen! Once you get off the main road, you will encounter narrow countryside roads for approx 3-5 minutes until you get to the property.

LIVING AREA

You will love the way the living area seamlessly integrates with the kitchen and beautiful terrace. There is a 2 person bistro-style table, sectional sofa, TV, and AC. The room is furnished with vibrant colors and comfort in mind. The living room opens to the grand balcony, here is where guests will enjoy the expansive and beautiful views Rincon has to offer. The balcony has a comfortable lounge area and dining table for 4.

Casa del Sol has a laundry room with a washer & dryer, perfect for an extended stay. Also offers anoutdoor freestanding shower; ideal to remove sand when arriving from the beach or any sandy items into the home.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS

The master suite has a king-size bed, 2 personal nightstands, a walk-in closet, ceiling fans, AC, a full dresser, and an on-suite private bathroom. The second bedroom has a bunk bed with full and twin size beds. Features a small dresser, AC, and sliding door closet.

PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY): We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.

KITCHEN

Casa del Sol's kitchen is conveniently located in the living area. It offers a full refrigerator, toaster, microwave oven, stove, blender, and basically everything you need for an extended stay. It has an additional 3 person seating in its counter area.

LOCATION

There are many things to do in Rincón, Puerto Rico. This part of the island is best known as "The town of beautiful sunsets." Staying at Rincón you will enjoy a laid-back atmosphere, delicious restaurants, and great surfing beaches.

Explore the large selection of local restaurants. Some of our favorites includeThe English Rose, La Cambija, Carta Buena, Kaplash, El Tamboo Beside the Point, The Beach House, and La Copa Llena. Check out a new restaurant calledLa Serina, a great Tiki bar and sushi bar located downtown.
Relax at your personal grand terrace. The apartment includes beach chairs, beach towels, and coolers.
Enjoy a beautiful sunset dinner at La Copa Llena.
Visit the local beaches like Steps, Maria's Beach, Sandy Beach, Domes Beach, and Corcega.
Take a picture of the beautiful "El Faro Lighthouse" at Punta Higuero.
Watch an afternoon sunset at Sandy Beach or Marías Beach and stop for a drink at the Calypso Bar which is right by the beach. or The Beach House.

GETTING AROUND

Renting a car is a must when staying in Rincón. There are many activities within 15 minutes of driving distance and the roads are easy to navigate. The villa includes 2 unassigned parking spots.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, especially during the peak months of Hurricane Season, which are July to October. Travel insurance is inexpensive and will reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, this will depend on what the coverage purchased covers. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase. Disclaimer: we are not associated with any travel insurance companies.


AMENITIES

West Indies strives to deliver top-notch service and amenities to guarantee our guests feel at home while visiting our properties. All of our properties are outfitted with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest. Our properties typically include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler.

West Indies provides the disposable amenities necessary to get your vacation off to a comfortable start. These amenities include 1 set of hotel size soaps and shampoos per bathroom, 3 garbage bags, 1 rollof paper towel, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 dish soap, 1 dish sponge, and a small amount of laundry detergent. We do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is your responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock with whatever else may be needed for the duration of your stay.

HOUSE RULES

Check-in time is at 4:00 pm
Check-out time is at 11:00 am
NO SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited. A smoking fee of $500 will be charged if violated.
NO PETS:No pets are allowed at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if violated and you will be expelled from the property.
Building quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please keep noise levels down during these hours out of respect to the neighbors.
The host will not pay for a hotel, vacation rental, or transportation expenses incurred because of an interruption in water or electrical service. If water or electricity is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests have the option of canceling their reservation and requesting a refund for the nights not used. Under no circumstances will we refund consumed nights.
All bookings are contingent on signing a short-term rental agreement that will be sent via email. It must be signed within 48 hours of booking or before entering the property, whichever happens first.
Maximum occupancy of 5 adults/childrenat all times. This includes visitors.
Max. occupancy is strictly enforced and exceeding it may result in immediate cancellation of booking or being expelled from the property.
Towels and linens must only be used for their intended purpose. Do not stain them with food, grease, or any other substance. Do not use towels to clean up any mess. Stained towels/linens will be charged.
