The hotel is beautiful, the amenities are awesome, you are connected to Aloft Hotel and it’s amenities, the water pressure in the room is incredible and the staff is comprised of some of the most welcoming people you’ll meet in the city. Big shoutout to the manager Michelle, front host Luis and especially the doorman Juan Carlo who was my translator as I was speaking with the police. The staff really made my experience the best it could be. I won’t be recommending Santo Domingo to anyone nor will I be back but if I absolutely must, Santo Domingo Marriott Piantini is the only place I will stay and I would probably not leave the hotel unless it is to go back to the airport.
