It is our 4th trip to the Dominican Republic. In the resorts we stayed previously, there was this damp and moldy look, feel and smell. But Falcons is completely free of this defect. Also, food is often a concern at the DM resorts, but at Falcon's the food was great. We could always find something nutritious for our 2 kids (6 and 9) and not only rich in carbs, but proteins and fats as well. Speaking of kids, the hotel has a great waterpark with slides, and a Kids Club where you can leave you little ones for a couple of hours. There is one potentially problematic thing you should know about Falcons -- you need to walk about 10 minutes to the beach or take a shuttle. The path is very beautiful, with palms and bird-watching. We almost always walked to the back, and occasionally took the shuttle back to the hotel. We knew about this in advance and did not mind one bit as we are a family of walkers. Overall, great resort!"

It offers plenty of chairs and some poolside cabanas. There is a bar at each end of the pool for drinks. The Oceanside bar has snacks and drinks. The waitress at that bar was fantastic. She is so friendly and attentive. The beach is fantastic and very clean. Plenty of beach chairs and cabanas on the beach. There are a few vendors on the beach. They are very respectful. We enjoyed dinner at the Japanese restaurant one night. It currently isn’t part of the AI plan but we’re told that will change soon. It was an incredibly affordable meal. We had 2 appetizers and 2 entrees for $40. The food there was delicious. Carlos is a super friendly and attentive server there and also bartender during the day. Thanks, Carlos! The buffet was kind of hit or miss. Honestly, this has been my experience at other resorts too. I don’t expect much from the buffets. They do have an omelette station in the mornings, fresh fruit, and great coffee. The staff are amazing! I wish I’d caught everyone’s names. Kayla, Roberto, maria, Jovany, Tomas, “Land Rover”, Carlos. Everyone is so attentive and kind. We will definitely be back. "
