- "A unique hotel close to the heart of Savonlinna. Easy stay and had a good breakfast with plenty of options. Rooms can get hot in the summer as there was no ac, just a fan. It would be great if they redid the interiors to make it more comfortable, although it is an interesting view of an older hotel. It faces the sun in the morning, so the rooms get quite hot and opening the windows can only cool it so much, so it was quite warm in the evening. This was mid-summer, so perhaps in the winter this works well. The breakfast option was good. Young staff, helpful and courteous."

The flat was in a back building, some distance from check-in but overall not a problem and the flat was more than satisfactory.
