- "Absolutely loved the atmosphere! Old school turned into a hotel, wood-fired sauna in its own building, food and herbs from their own garden. Bathtub was good-sized, bed was surprisingly comfortable and I personally loved that I could open the windows in my suite. Little bit of creaking here and there, but it didn't bother me. The staff were very friendly and calm, loved to spend time with them. I highly recommend to try activities available, the staff really know what they are doing. The space
Distance to the city center of Savonlinna 22km by car about 20 minutes.
The accommodation room is located in a courtyard building with its own lockable entrance and a small covered patio with furniture in the front.
The room can accommodate up to four people with a double bed, a couch, and an extra bed is an air mattress 90x190x45cm.
The grill canopy has the option to cook and wash dishes.
The guest house shower is only for guests who are accessible from the outside.
Guests can move around our yard freely, like hanging out on the yard swing and swimming on the beach enjoying the warmth of the sun or hanging out at the fire pit.
You can also arrive by boat for us, as we are in the waterfront landscape of Haukivesi, which is part of the Lake Saimaa water system.
Linnansaari's Kasallis Park is located about 20km from our property, Oravi to the island, boat transportation daily in the summertime.

Art-inspired, conveniently ascetic, little cottage on wheels. The tiny house is decorated with nature-themed art, and the works change from time to time. The cottage's building materials are authentic and eco-inspired, such as a board floor, a full wood panel roof, a welding paper wall, and a wall adorned with old book covers. The surrounding area is a wild old log cabinet courtyard. Even though the road is nearby, there's a romantic birch hole in the view.

The accommodation includes a steam in the barrel sauna!

The space
The cottage has a microwave, stove, kettle, coffee maker, electric cooler, and clean water canister. So you can comfortably cook if you don't want to head to the city's restaurants, which are about a 20-minute drive away. You can also hike to nearby lean-tos to roast sausages or whatever you can cook on an open fire and a grill.

This summer's new cottage has a double bed with plush mattresses. Inside the cottage, there is a tabletop with bar stools, and you can also eat or lounge on the terrace (which is just not covered at the moment). The immediate surroundings of the cottage are natured with numerous butterflies. Next to it also rises in the woods, and the dirt road winds by the rustic romantic.

The accommodation includes saunas in an atmospheric barrel sauna. The last hour of the sauna shift is about 9 pm, which can be slightly flexible depending on the situation. Let the host know the sauna time you want, and they'll sump the sauna shifts with other guests (the property also includes a barn, a treehouse, and an old log house where there may be other guests) Sheets are included, but towels are not.

The property is also suitable for bikers, as the dirt road is only less than 500m when coming from Juvolantie. A small forest car road next to the attic, ensuring that you can park your bike safely right next to the accommodation.

During the late summer, a radiator heating can be provided upon request.

Guest access
Your own car can be reached right next to the listing. Unfortunately, there is hardly any public transportation. During school hours, the school bus runs from 500 meters early in the morning and in the other direction in the afternoon.

For motorists: only less than 500m of dirt road to the property.

Other things to note
The road goes close to the cottage, but usually traffic is very occasional at night.

If it's hot and you have to sleep with the windows open, earplugs may be necessary.

Near the cottage, there are nice hiking trails with lean-to!

Stay close to the castle, beach, and downtown services in a quiet, centrally located property that also gives you easy access to urban nature. We stay as a guest of our family, in a separate courtyard building. The guesthouse has a day bed for two and a travel crib, a bathroom, a toilet, a sauna and simple kitchen equipment (no cooking), laundry facilities for an additional fee. Please note that we have two friendly dogs and a rabbit in our home. Welcome!

There's a room, a toilet, a bathroom, and a sauna heated by trees. The bed is a wooden sofa bed and is best suited for a short stay. Bedding and sheets can be found in the room. A small child's travel cot is also available. The room has a small kitchen equipment: dishes, a coffee maker, and an electric kettle. No cooking option.

The bathroom / sauna has soap and shampoo, as well as towels and tablecloths. The sauna is heated with trees - if the heating of the sauna is not familiar, ask the host to warm up the stove.
