The guesthouse is located 1 kilometer from the Aura River from the beach in Föri. Föri is a ferry that goes across the river. The guesthouse has a 120 centimeter-wide couch that serves as a bed. Small kitchenette and kitchenware with sauna and freezing toilet. There are outdoor chairs and a table in front of the guesthouse. The guesthouse has a rapidly warming wooden sauna and a toilet. Guests can also use the main house's shower and toilet if they wish. There is no shower or water toilet in the guesthouse.

The space
The guesthouse is small in size. The bed is 120 centimeters wide.

Guest access
Buses run continuously from Stålarminkatu to the centre of Turku. You can park your car for free on the road.

Other things to note
We hope the guest will do the dishes when they leave. And take the trash bag out to the trash can. The sauna is used to retrieve the bath water around.

As you sip your hot morning coffee on the terrace, birds sing in the trees around you, a slight ripple sounds from the fountain in the garden pond next to you, a huge passenger ferry honks and towers up behind the trees, heading for the Turku harbor. You are in the midst of nature, close to the sea, yet in the town of Turku, with its riversides sprawling restaurants and cafés. You grab your rented bike and pedal effortlessly, aided by a silent electric motor. A day for adventure or for relaxing?

The space
This is perfect for those who appreciate to wake up and go to bed in peace close to nature, and wants to explore the town and nearby sights during daytime.

There is a garden and a pond with a fountian. The property is surrounded by nature and close to the sea (glimpses of water can be seen through the trees). There are birds and animals. The property gets evening sun, and sunsets in the summer are quite nice.

The room is small and cozy, and opens up to the terrace.

There is a mini fridge (10l), for some breakfast ingredients and or beverages. Coffe and tea is included and there is a kettle, plus some plates, cups, glasses and utensils, in the one cupboard designated for guests. As in one of the pictures.

There is no regular kitchen. You can use the outdoor kitchen for some basic cooking on an induction stove (pot & pan) or open fire grilling.

Please note that in most of the cupboards we store stuff, and expect guests to respect our property and leave them be.

The washing room / toilet does not have a regular sink, but a mobile solution, as in the picture.

The sauna is quite epic, and better than most saunas in the world. It will however, when heated, store some heat in the wall and keep the room warmer than it otherwise would be.

Guest access
The guest house has a terrace, a living space, a washing room / toilet, and a sauna room.

You will have shared access to the outdoor kitchen/ sheltered sitting area.

Please not that five of six cupboards in the living space are excluded, as we store stuff in those.

For sauna heating we charge 20 € / session. We will heat the sauna for you, or provide fire wood and heating instructions, upon request. The sauna heating process takes 45-60 minutes, depending on the weather. This is only available when a host is at home in the main house.
Please note that the sauna, when heated, store some heat in the wall and keep the room warmer than it otherwise would be.

Other things to note
Two dachshunds and two small children live next door, so you might see and hear them (especially the dogs).
