- "A fantastic visit to Saltsjöbaden and Solsidan. My little daughter and I enjoyed it immensely. The location is secluded and private, yet grand and beautiful. The scenery just by the water is magnificent and the view breathtaking! I especially enjoyed the sauna close to the water with easy access to the water by two separate decks in each direction. The house is a treasure throwe in itself, built in 1913 surrounded with phenomenal stone yards decorated with flowers. The yard is in three separated layers with a stone staircase leading down to the multiple decks by the water and the sauna. The landlady is very service minded and responsive to all special requests that we had. Breakfast by the stone staircase and separate entrance overlooking the lake and nature from above was absolutely stunning. We loved the rooms with great view overlooking the lake and the beds were very comfortable. A special plus for the homey feeling and the welcoming atmosphere that the landlady instilled in us both. We felt right at home. We will return to this hidden treasure many times - this summer already. I can strongly recommend Solsidan B&B to both families and couples as well as tourists and business people who need to get away from the city to relax and really enjoy leasure time, or work in lush green and breathtaking surroundings. A home away from home with that little extra personal touch - a sure personal favorite from a regular and experienced hotel guest in Stockholm with surroundings!"

A building memory,a lime oven, reminds you of times when limestone was broken here. In the old archipelago trade, we now run the B&B and course activities. A room is rented out in my large and totally renovated villa on beautiful and scenic Ekerö. The room in this listing has a double bed with fresh and nice bed linen. Two nightstands, an armchair and a dresser and mirror, but no wardrobe. There are hooks and the possibility to hang outerwear etc. behind the door. Locks are available.

Luxurious and top renovated bathroom is on the same floor that is available to you. But the bathroom can be shared by other guests if any of the other two rooms I rent out would be rented

You can reach central Stockholm conveniently via bus no. 177 only a 2-minute walk from the plot. Buses will take you to Brommaplan and thus the subway to different parts of Stockholm, a trip that takes about 50-60 minutes in total. Welcome to this cozy double room a stone's throw from the sea on Edesön with magnificent views of Jungfrufjärden in the southern archipelago. Here you can take a morning swim, sunbathe, bathe in the sauna and enjoy the view of the outer archipelago. You will have access to a common area with a refrigerator, kettle, microwave and stove. Adjacent to the room is a fresh outdoor toilet. Edesön is a picturesque archipelago island without cars that can be reached by Waxholm boat from Dalarö, kayak or your own boat.

Please note that from August 19, the Waxholm boat only goes from Strömkajen to Edesön on Fridays at 4:30 pm and back from Edesön to Strömkajen on Sundays at 5:10 pm (check-out is at 11:00 am and then you can explore the rest of the island).

Relax or tag along. Kojan, 30 sqm, has two bedrooms, one of which is in the loft (not standing height).. A car-free island with peace and quiet. One minute to the sea and at the same time 8 km as the crow flies to Stockholm City. You live in the middle of the blueberry bushes in the shade of the pines and have a two-minute walk to the common sandy beach at the southern jetty. Proximity to the Lidingöspåret keeps you in shape. You have the option to rent an infrared sauna or kayaks. If you want two more beds, you can also rent the accommodation's Sjöstuga.

The space
Kojan is a newly built Attefalls cottage of 30 sqm. There are two bedrooms, one of which is in the loft (with wonderful sea views) in the loft, there is no standing height, you get up there via a steep ladder. There is a shower and a fully equipped kitchen. Barbecue facilities are available. Also, a barbell, kettlebells and dumbbells are available to borrow.

You can use Kojan's patio deck with its barbecue. It is also possible to borrow exercise equipment.

If you want to rent an infrared sauna or kayaks, talk to the hosts Lotta and Magnus.

You can swim at the public beach at Södra Bryggan.

Other things to note
Storholmen has a Sjökrog (sea tavern) that is open in the summer months and also some weekends in the winter months. There are no stores on the island so food must be brought from the mainland.

On the island, there is a common beach at the southern jetty as well as a trampoline and rocks at the northern part of the island.

You get to the accommodation via a four-minute boat ride to a small car-free island outside Lidingö.

If you come by car, you park at Mor Annas Brygga, Trolldalsvägen 7, 18129 Lidingö. You pay SEK 15/day via Easypark (parking fines are issued frequently for those who forget).

Agnesberg is situated on an island called Ramsö, a 15-minute public boat ride from Vaxholm and about 90 minutes by boat from Stockholm. Vaxholm is a very nice little town with shops, restaurants and a fortress with a museum. Ramsö is small a car-free island with a year-round population of about 50 people. The island has gravel roads perfect for walking and running.

This rental includes two separate houses. The main guest house has two bedrooms with a total of four beds, kitchen and bathroom, and the cottage on the water has a single room with one queen size double bed. One of the bedrooms in the main guest house has a bunk bed, and the other bedroom has a two single beds put together as a double bed, but can be separated at your convenience. The cottage down by the water (about 100 m from the main guest house) is heated but has no running water.

The house with all the amenities is located on a large and undisturbed horse farm with its own jetty, close to the bus to Stockholm.
The house is suitable for four people. One person can then sleep on a comfortable sofa bed in the living room (door to close if there is one). The sleeping area is on the upper floor where a wall separates the double bed from a single bed, so it's like two bedrooms. The double bed can be separated into single beds. Freshly made beds and towels. Two toilets are available with shower, sauna and washing machine. TV room sofa and Apple TV.

Unique cottage on the water's edge. Bright Nordic style with whole natural materials. Through the large windows you will see the city pulse on the other side of the lake. You take the morning swim on your own jetty and breakfast is enjoyed on the brink to Saltjsön when the weather permits. M/S Kung Ring takes you to Ropsten and on into the city. Within 20 minutes you are at Stureplan. After a game at Tranholmen's first-class tennis court, a sauna and swimming in Saltjön is restorative.
