Welcome to Halvars! Amazing quiet valley environment with large plot and magnificent view of Lake Väsman. At the house there are nice forest roads. 500 m away is a beautiful lookout spot. The house is a herb dating from the early 19th century. It consists of two floors. On the upper floor there are two beds, on the lower floor there is a small kitchenette, a table and a couch. In adjacent houses there are bathrooms with a shower. Five minutes by car to trading area, ten minutes to Ludvika city center. In the lake there are swimming facilities.

The space
In the kitchenette there is a fridge, freezer, hot plates, coffee maker and microwave. The house in question does not have running water or sewage, it is in adjacent houses on the plot.

Close to tourist destinations in beautiful Dalarna. 4 km to Romme Alpin, 6 km to Säfsen Alpin.

The space

Bathing area and jetties shared only with the host couple's family. Feel free to bring your fishing equipment, buy a fishing permit and catch your own fish. Borrow our rowing boat for free. Sauna in the cabin. Shower towels and beach towels are available, as well as dish towels. Bed linen is available.

Forest and meadow land, berries and mushrooms. Quiet location and yet close to Ludvika city with restaurants, cafes and shops.
The guest house is kept pet free. Quiet and calm location, no through traffic. No loud parties are allowed, nor that other people other than the rented guests (2 people) are accommodated or use the cabin's facilities.

Guest access
The entire guesthouse with large terrace. The sauna is in your cabin, also the sauna has windows overlooking the lake.
An extra storage room for cushions, etc., is available in the cabin.
Swimming area, the jetty, free rowing boat rental.
Charcoal grill, the guest is responsible for the purchase of coal.

(The second guest house, hot tub and outdoor hammock are private and not rented out. That also applies to our kayak and motorboat)
Bikes can be rented in the center of Ludvika. Kayaks are also available for rent at a swimming area 1 km away.

Other things to note
Close to illuminated jogging trails, several other swimming areas in lakes in the surroundings. Walking distance to the city center (about 20 minutes)
Several "Loppis." (Flea markets).
Indoor pool in Ludvika center, gym etc. Cinema, golf and other things are in the center. 5 km to Hagge golf course. 50 km to Romme alpine, 60 km to Säfsen alpine.
We have a nice German Shepherd, other dogs or other animals cannot be brought by guests.
Due to other guests' allergies, the guest house is kept pet-free.
Cleaning according to instructions is done by the guest before checkout. Alternatively pay 700 SEK to the host couple who then performs the final cleaning.
Garbage sorting, easily arranged outdoors. The host takes care of the garbage after check-out and washing of bed linens and towels.
Please avoid strong smells so we can offer the cottage to allergy sufferers.
