Stay in a small log cabin on our farm!
In a high-altitude rural valley, with horses, chickens, cats and dogs in abundance, lies our little farm. In 1965, a small cabin was built for the owner's daughter Astrid, so that she could come to visit. Astrid soon became the owner of the entire farm, and the cottage was not used very much. Until now!

The space
The cottage is fully equipped with a nice 60s kitchen, fireplace and simpler bathroom with older standard. There are two beds, but if necessary, an extra camping bed can be borrowed. Outside, there is a small stone patio perfect for hanging out in the evening sun!

Guests are welcome to browse our large garden and pick fresh berries for breakfast.

Small cozy cottage in a quiet and nice area with walking distance to central Leksand and Lake Siljan. The cottage is located next to the house that we hosts live in. Close to Leksand's Folk High School and Tegera Arena.

The space
It is a simple log cabin with one bedroom, a small kitchen (kitchenette) and a small bathroom. There is a fireplace in the bedroom and a wood stove in the kitchen.

The cottage is good for 1-2 people who want to spend a few nights in beautiful Leksand and the surrounding area. Also works well as a commuter residence.

In summer, Leksand offers nice restaurants, cafes and many events. In winter, there are nice ski tracks around Leksand and a nice ski slope, Granberget ski resort. It is about 2 km to Tegera Arena (ice hockey).

The train station is within about 20 minutes walking distance.

On the terrace there is a dining area with barbecue, as well as a view of the lake. Next to the cottage, there is a scenic plot with proximity to paths along Lake Siljan.

The space
The cottage is located about 300 meters from Siljan. After a brisk walk of 15 minutes you are in the middle of Tällberg's charming environment with the possibility of magnificent views, or why not a coffee break? If you take the car about 20 minutes you are either in Rättvik, with its Långbrygga and Rättviksglass, or in Leksand with its popular summerland. If you take the train from Tällbergs station (around 5 minutes by car from the accommodation) you are after 40 minutes either in Mora, with the Zorn museum, or in Borlänge with a day filled with shopping.

From the cottage you have walking distance to sandy beach and hiking trails.

The cottage has fiber WiFi, air heat pump that provides cooling in the summer months and heating in the winter months, the kitchen contains induction stove with four burners, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge with freezer, as well as equipped with ordinary kitchen accessories.

Bed linens and towels are available to rent for SEK 150 per person per stay, Airbnb's service fees will be added. Please advise in advance if the need exists.

Cleaning is done by the guest, including final cleaning before check-out. Cleaning equipment in the cabin.
Final cleaning can be purchased for a fee of SEK 400, Airbnb's service fees will be added.

Smaller dogs may be allowed by agreement. Ask at booking.
The host family has a dog itself as well as a cat that does not stay in the cabin.

Attached to the cottage, there is a large shared terrace where the area around the cabin is for the guest's use. Here is the opportunity to gather around the grill for a nice dinner with evening sun and sunset.

Next to the cottage, there is a scenic plot with relaxation facilities in the hammock. On the large lawn, there is access to activities such as club.

Grocery stores are closest to Tällberg, but also in Leksand and Rättvik.

Here you (1-4 people) live in our courtyard in a small but nice and fresh little cottage of 15 sqm. Only a stone's throw from Ishall (Tegera Arena), swimming pool and walking distance to Siljansvallens sports arenas, bus and train station, restaurants and shopping in the city center, walking paths in the forest and along Siljan's beach. 2.5 km from Sommarland. Suitable accommodation for overnight stays in connection with, for example, hockey matches, sports camps, events and concerts.

The space
Lillstugan is a simple but fresh cottage. Inside, it has pine paneling, spotlights in the ceiling. Door with lock and window with mosquito net. Roller blinds. Comfortable textile carpet on the floor, table with two chairs and 2 pallets. Sofa bed (2024) 135x195ca and family bed 80+120x200. Small side table.
Simple kitchenette with smaller refrigerator and freezer compartment (2024). Stovetop, microwave, kettle and coffee maker. Simple household items, glasses and porcelain. Tea and coffee, as well as salt, pepper and cinnamon.
Since the cottage has no running water, we make sure that there is fresh water in the refrigerator for you.
You put the dishes in a tub that you then place on the broom, so we take care of the dishes for you while you look around in Leksand.😊

Toilet and sink are available in our large residential house. You will find the toilet in the stairwell inside the entrance to the house where we live. Our guests in the small cottage have access to the small toilet during their stay. Soap, toilet paper and towels are there for you.
We in the family occasionally pass through the stairwell.
You are neat, make sure that it is nice and clean in the toilet and in the cottage, so we clean with dusting, mopping and vacuuming after your check-out.

Guest access
As a tenant, you have your own access to the small cottage with its own, smaller balcony at the entrance. Directly adjacent, you also have a stone patio and lawn. At the other end of the lawn is our house and patio where we ourselves are.
The lawn/garden is shared with us and it is usually natural for guests in the cottage to stay around the cottage. We have a dog that can sometimes be in the garden next to our house.
As a guest in the small cottage, you have access to your own toilet with sink, which is located inside the large entrance of the large house. Directly in the stairwell, you reach the small space where your toilet with a small sink is located.
Currently, we cannot offer shower facilities, but 100 meters from the house, there is a swimming pool and 400 meters away, there is Actic with generous opening hours. Or why not a cooling dip in Siljan 😉
If you come by car, you can park for free in our driveway.
To get to the little cottage, you follow a stone/grass path through the garden.
