The house is beautifully situated close to both Lake Mälaren (Ekoln) and Uppsala. It is 150 meters down to the jetty in Lake Mälaren. Hammarskogs Herrgård with café is within walking distance. The house is a narrow elongated guest house of about 30 square meters with 4 rooms in a row. A bedroom, a kitchen/dining room and toilet, a shower room/laundry room and finally a sauna. The house is best suited for two people but you can stay more as there is a foldable bed and also a cot. The house also includes a lovely terrace to enjoy when the weather permits.

The space
The house has a combined bedroom/living room with an IKEA Hemnes daybed that can be used as a sofa, single bed or double bed. It is also possible to set up an extra bed and/or a cot, even if the space is limited. The bedroom is adjacent to a kitchen/dining room with bench, hot and cold water, fridge, micro, hot plate induction, dishwasher, coffee maker, small table and chairs. The toilet is accessed from this room. In the next room there is a shower and washing machine as well as access to sauna/relax. Here you can also set up an extra bed but the space is small. Outside on the terrace there is a seating area with nice sunny location during morning and morning. Parking is available next to the property.
On the backside of the house there is a nice secluded area with an outdoor group.

Guest access
The entire guesthouse and associated terrace can be at your disposal. Also the back of the guesthouse facing the road can be disposed of as a private secluded area. Parking for car is available. The family dock can be used. The family and its guests also use the dock.

The house is best suited for two persons but it is possible to be several and then use extra beds but the space is limited. The extra beds are of the model collapsible guest bed. It is possible to arrange a travel bed for toddlers if needed.

Welcome to our newly built guest house "Ladan." A home in a quiet, rural setting just east of Uppsala.

With us, you live 13 km from Uppsala C and 7 km from the E4, which takes you further towards Arlanda or Stockholm. 1000 meters from the accommodation, a bus goes directly to Uppsala C and during some summer days, you can take a steam train to the city with the museum railway Lennakatten.

The guest house is located on the outskirts of Gunsta community, close to nature. In the area, there is the nice Stiernhielms Krog & Livs, where you can eat well or shop a little.

Welcome to rent our newly renovated tiny house/guesthouse!

The house is completely newly renovated and is located on our property in quiet Starbo on the border of the nature reserve Hågadalen/Nåsten, but with proximity to town and service with shops.

The house has a kitchenette with oven and two hot plates, fridge with freezer compartment. The bathroom has a washing machine, shower, toilet and sink.

In the room there is a bed 90 cm as well as an extra bed that is set out if necessary. Table with chairs, wardrobe and dresser.

Sheets/towels can be rented: 150kr/pp

The space
Car parked in carport or in the driveway. Please note that it is not allowed to charge an electric car. There is no electric car charger, it is not allowed to charge an electric car in the ordinary outlet. Charging is available at nearby ICA Maxi.

It is not allowed to smoke in the property or on the plot. Animals/pets are unfortunately not allowed as we have allergies in the family.

Guests clean themselves:
Vacuum, dust and mop floors if necessary, wash and put away clean dishes, empty garbage, wipe surfaces. In the bathroom, the toilet, sink and shower should also be wiped clean.

When renting sheets, we want the sheets to be removed from the bed and put in a plastic bag.

If you like to grill, you can borrow a charcoal grill and extra outdoor furniture if desired.

The residence is located next to the nature reserve Hågadalen/Nusten close to Kvarnbo mill. In the area, the artist Bruno Liljefors also resided when he was active (around the turn of the century 1900).
It is adjacent to road 55 (but not disturbingly close) and is 6 kilometers from E4.
On 30 miunutes by car, you can get to Arlanda Airport.
If you want to experience Stockholm with its offerings, it is about a 1-hour drive south out.

Uppsala offers an active student life with a diligent university.

Several elite sports clubs are based in the city. For example, Sirius in football football football as well as Storvreta in the floorball's highest series.

Uppsala has a popular cultural life with both art museum, theatre and Uppsala Castle.
The city is also a place of deep history in religious Sweden, with everything from the traveling cathedral, the quiet mystical Viking tombs.

Uppsala also has a nice bathhouse, Fyrishov, with adventure baths, and several pools both inside and outside.
In summer, there are also several baths within easy reach by car. Feel free to ask us where.

You can also book the spa bath (hot about 40 degrees, with massage jets and also speakers with BT) which is close to the host's balcony for an extra fee. Contact us beforehand to see if the pool is available during your stay. Note: Not a play pool for children.
