Charming Bed and Breakfasts in Trosa

Relaxing accommodation in the central of Trosa is located in Trosa, just 1.4 miles from Borgmästarholmen Beach and 30 miles from Nyköping Train Station. A small, lovely guest house with a bedroom, kitchenette and a bathroom just a 10-minute walk to the picturesque town of Trosa, with its harbor, narrow alleys, top bars and restaurants as well as charming shops. It is only a 10-minute walk to a nice little sandy beach on the island. The cottage was renovated in 2022 and feels spacious thanks to the high ceiling.

The space
Two people can stay in the cottage in the wide bed. It is possible to separate the beds and place the bedside table between them, but then it becomes a little difficult to use the front door.

The bathroom that you reach through the door next to the bedroom is spacious and has a sink with a dresser, toilet and shower cabin.

Guest access
You have the house to yourself and you can use the lawn and the dining area outside the cottage.

Although the guest house is located near our summer house, you can feel quite private. We spend most of our lives outdoors at the back of the house where you don't see us.

We will pass the guest house when we go for a walk or go to the parking lot.

Other things to note
Ralph is an enthusiastic kayaker! If you bring your own kayaks, you are welcome to have them at our dock. There, it is excellent to get in and out of the kayak. To get to the water, the kayaks need to be carried down a fairly long staircase.

If you want to rent a kayak, you can do it in the guest harbor. If you rent for several days in a row, you can leave the kayaks at our jetty.

Ralph is happy to help plan kayak trips for a few hours or several days.

The space
You have access to your own guest area of about 25 m2 located in a separate house in the garden.
Free parking is available close to the property, at a preschool 50 meters from the property.

A hall welcomes you with the opportunity to hang outerwear as well as a small seat.

Overlooking the garden, the living room has a sofa and a dining table with two chairs.
There's a fantastic old radio and musical instrument you can play on.
There are also board games and books.

In the bedroom, there is a 180 cm wide double bed with electrical operation of the main end.

In the kitchen there is a mini fridge with freezer compartment, stove, and sink. Microwave, toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle and housewares are in the cabinets.
Coffee and tea are provided so you can brew yourself a cup whenever you want.
As a neighbor with the garden there is a popular restaurant, and a tip is to enjoy good takeout in the garden.

The bathroom is located two steps up. There is a toilet, shower, towel heater, hair dryer and floor heating.

Pets are welcome at the property. However, not in the beds.

Your stay includes sheets, towels and final cleaning.

Guest access
The guest house is located in the garden in the middle of the long house length.

Upon arrival, the cottage is open and the key is inside. Upon departure, leave the key and leave the door unlocked.

You are free to get around in the garden and sit at outdoor furniture that is in different places. From early June to September, there is an unheated summer pool that both you as a guest and I as a host have access to.
There are various garden games to borrow.

Pets need to be on a leash.

The space
Welcome to lovely Tallbacken! The house "Yellow Widow", where we in the host family live, has stood here at best and looked out over the meadow and the sea down by the marina since 1925.
On the plot, which is surrounded by a fence yard, there is a rocking position and trampoline to borrow if free :)

The guest house has a kitchenette equipped with crockery/cutlery/children's dinnerware and utensils for simpler cooking. Refrigerator with freezer compartment, microwave, toaster, kettle, press kettle and coffee maker are available. Dining table for four. If you need a high chair, we set out Ikea's “Antelop”.

It has a private bathroom with a shower and a toilet. (Soap/body wash, shampoo, hair dryer, towels and toilet paper available). Potty and/or Toaring for children are around - please ask when booking. :)

In the sleeping alcove there is a bed of 160x200 cm and in the main cabin there is a sofa bed with 130x200 cm width as it is unfolded. Air mattress and/or a temp bed is also available. There is a travel bed for small children.
All windows have roller shades to pull down for blackout.
Table fan is available if there is a heat wave.

Widescreen TV (with Chromecast so you can hook up what you want to see from your mobile or toad) is in front of the couch. Wifi is available to connect to.

The cottage has its own terrace with outdoor furniture plus umbrellas and nice view down towards the meadow where the sea glimpses on the horizon.

The houses are placed in a big garden, only 5 min to charming town of Trosa, 8 min to the beach and one hour to Stockholm.

The space
You can expect two small houses developed for family members; they have charm and style. Kitchen house was build in 2022, everything is brand new and spotless. It is small, 30 sqm, but has - hopefully - everything you need.

I live permanently in a 200 year old cottage in one end of these 4 acres of lovely garden. There is a third dwelling facing yours. the garden is big and there is plenty of room for everybody.

Trosa is a lovely town, full of history and charm. It is lively, with several excellent restaurants and shops. The boat life gives a lot of character.

There are several beaches nearby, both at the Baltic and in small lakes. Trosa has 2 golf courses.

You will have full access to the kitchen-house, and, if more than 2 of you, also to the Bedroom-house.
