The space
The house is best suited for 2 people or a smaller family. Travel crib, and high chair are available to borrow, note that gates are missing in the stairs. The cottage has a kitchen/living room, bedroom, toilet and shower, double bed (180 cm), single bed (105 cm) and a sofa bed (140 cm).

Guest access
The cottage shares a plot with us, so it's important that we show each other consideration. There are horses and sheep in the pastures outside and there are cats, dogs and chickens nearby. If you have a dog with you, it should be on a leash. There's no fence around the property.

Gräddö is a cozy village with a lot to discover. Restaurant, kayak rental and grocery store within walking distance. Welcome!

Relax and enjoy in this modern guest house near Norrtälje with nature directly at the highway. The house has its own garden with grass lawn and patio and a 6 km walking path through beautiful forest directly by the gate. There is also swimming nearby. On Rådmansö, there are many activities available during spring and summer with nice boat trips out into the northern archipelago, paddling, swimming, cafes/restaurants and Norrtälje city very accessible about 10 minutes from the property.

The house that is modern and newly built is 32 sqm which includes a sleeping loft of 7 sqm.
It is winter equipped with heat sources.
The kitchen is fully equipped and has Fridge (with freezer) oven, injection hob, microwave and a kettle.
The bathroom has underfloor heating, toilet, shower, towel dryer and a 4 kilo washing machine. The sink has good storage underneath.
The living room has a high double closet with storage for clothes and the sofa can be pulled out to a double bed.
The sleeping loft is accessed by a ladder and has a 160 double bed or two 80 beds.
The hall has storage for outerwear and shoes.
The house has a large decked porch with patio furniture and bbq.

Welcome to our home at Resarö in Stockholm Archipelago. A perfect place for those looking for an idyllic and peaceful place with close proximity to swimming, outdoor activities, the archipelago and Stockholm.

The space
The small place is bright and fresh with everything that might be needed for a comfortable stay. In the big room there is a double bed (180 cm), a sofa and a small kitchen with dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with crockery and kitchenware, fridge, stove with two burners, microwave, Nespresso brewer and press maker as well as dishwasher. In the bathroom there is a toilet, sink and shower.

Guest access
The property is on top of our garage which is in a separate building but close to the house where we live. The entrance is next to the garage doors and from there a staircase goes directly up to the home. Outside the entrance, there is a seating area available that can be moved to sun, shade or covered. Our lot is a shot lot so the garage is accessed by a longer driveway up a hill.

You park the car right at your doorstep. The accommodation is best suited for two adults but an extra bed for children can be offered in the form of an air mattress.

Bed linen, towels and final cleaning is included when you book.

Other things to note
From the accommodation you are close to most things. It is about 600 meters to a swimming area with a small beach and a swimming ladder that is perfect for the morning swim. If you take a walk of approximately 700 meters you will get to the grocery store where the bus stop is also located.

On Resarö there is a grocery store as well as a summer cafe with rights and tennis courts outdoors that are easily booked online. Only 5 kilometers away is the archipelago idyll Vaxholm with shops, fortress, ice cream parlors and restaurants. There are pharmacies and Systembolaget as well as a large selection of archipelago ferries to either get further out into the archipelago or into Stockholm (an hour by boat). Also on Resarö there is a jetty for archipelago ferries, see more information on Waxholmsbolaget's website, search Ytterby Brygga.

There is plenty of activities to do. In addition to tennis and paddle, there are several golf courses in the nearby area, the possibility to rent a kayak or SUP at Kanotcenter, challenge yourself on the high-altitude course at Vaxholm Skypark or explore Bogesund nature reserve with castle cafe, beautiful hiking trails and sandy beaches.

To Stockholm, it takes 30 minutes by car and 45 minutes with bus.

There is a 200 meter walk down to the beach and the area has several hiking trails. A 10 minute walk from the house you can catch the boat to Stockholm city.
