Warm welcome to rent our fantastic guest house in the countryside. Here you can enjoy recovery with nature right at your doorstep. Forest walks can be taken around both fields and horse pastures.
The space
Sweden's oldest city "Sigtuna" is only a ten minute drive away, including historical sights, activities such as mini golf and ice cream in large loads with Lake Mälaren in the back.
If you want to reach our beautiful capital, there are commuter trains to take from Bålsta or Märsta a 20 minute drive. By car you also reach Uppsala in about 30 minutes, Lasse Åbergs museum, (including the banana playground) 20 minutes .
Swimming area are close by . Trampoline is available during the season to use in the garden for children who wish.
The property offers a kitchen equipped with everything you might need for your stay. A spacious bathroom with shower, sauna and washing machine with washing and drying functions in the same machine.
There is a sofa, a 140 bed, and a dining table with up to 6 seats on the lower floor. A sleeping loft is also available with a double bed (180 cm), a single bed and a cot for children up to about 5 years. There is a simple inflatable mattress (let us know if you would like us to prepare this for your stay).
In the loft there is also a 32 inch TV with xbox where you can watch netflix, disney but there are not regular TV channels.

We want to make our guests aware that the property is located a little higher up on a hill, there is a steep hill before reaching the property. To our winter guests, we want to inform you that if snow prevails, it can be difficult to get up the hill. We therefore recommend in these weather conditions to park below the hill if one does not have a four-wheel drive car.
For information, we also want to tell you that the property is next to the hosts permanent house and there is a neighbor.

Historic cabin in the centre of Sigtuna. Recently renovated with modern amenities.
The space
The cabin is 15m² +loft. It will accomodate 2 guests comfortably in a double bed (140cm x 200cm) on the loft (steep stairs).
There is a sofa bed downstairs (110cm x 200cm), so it is technically possible to accomodate 2 children or one adult downstairs.
Other things to note
The nearest public PARKING is located about 100m away. There is a public EV charger about 300m away. You can also borrow our own on-premise EV charger when we're not using it.
In summer, it is possible to rent CANOES/KAYAKS from mälarpiraterna, which is located about 500m from the house.
We have a few old BIKES that you can borrow if they fit. Otherwise, you can rent bikes in town.
There is a small rowing BOAT, which you can borrow at your own risk between June 1st and Sept 30th.
In winter, you can rent ICE SKATES and other sporting equipment at sigtunasport. se
The SHOWER uses an 80ltr boiler, which allows for 15-20mins of showering before requiring reheat (2hrs).

This special place, brand new loft is close to everything. Lake Mälaren with a small child-friendly beach (100m), a swimming area with BBQ facilities (200m) and the beautiful old town of Sigtuna (15 min walk).
The loft has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, bathroom with shower, and new furniture; one double bed (140cm) and one sofa bed (140cm). A portable cot can be arranged. The loft also has a balcony with sun all day, and a bus stop 100m away.
