Gamla Uppsala is 4 km north of Uppsala city, nice, quiet and very close to the nature.

The highway E4 is close and you can go by bus, bike or walk to city, it’s 100m to the busstop.

The space
Cozy privat studio with separate entrance in a house from 1969, equipped with everything you need for one person.

The apartment is about 25 square meter with a small full equipped kitchen with dining table and a room with a comfortable bed and armchair and wardrobes, a bathroom with shower and a washing machine.

The bed is ready when you are coming and there are also towels.
I am always careful with cleaning and want you to have everything you need to have a pleasant stay.

The area in Gamla Upper is very nice and silent and very close to the nature, to go hiking or by bicycle.

You can rent the studio for short or long time, one night or more but the apartment is perfect to stay in for a longer time, always discount if you stay longer.

The bus stop is just about 100meter and you have free car parking outside the house, there is a bike you can use for free, its easy to go by bike in Uppsala, it’s about 4 km to Uppsala city.

If you have the bike you are responsible to keep it in good condition, and if gets stolen you have to pay 2500kronor.

Always ask me if you miss or need something, I live the next door in the same house.

Unfortunately, it always costs to park cars in Uppsala. There is a large parking lot opposite the apartment. On the right part of the parking lot, parking is allowed. The left part belongs to Ekonomikum. Along the parking lot, it is possible to charge electric cars. It´s open to everyone. Opposite the apartment there is also a busstop. There you can take bus no. one. That´s a kind of circulation bus that passes around most things in Uppsala. Around the corner (to the right) there are other bus lines that all passes Uppsala Central Station.

During your stay
I´ll be happy to help you explore Uppsala with surrondings. Of course I help you find out about transportations, maps, restaurants, tourist attractions etc. The train to Stockholm takes 38 minutes so it´s easy for you to visit our beautiful capital. From Stockholm-Arlanda Airport the train leaves twice an hour and takes 17 minutes to Uppsala Central Station.

We have a very homely and cozy room in our three room apartment in Svartbäcken, Uppsala. 5min by bicycle (included) to the city centre and 1min to the Fyris river.
