Having the numerous woodland trails accessible from the campsite plus the lake with swimming and diving area meant the children were continuously occupied for free! A supermarket is 15 min walk away through wood. Food on site was decent and reasonably priced for Sweden, fish and chips £9, can 7up under £2. Owner was really helpful. Would def recommend as a great self catering option. "

This small house is in the middle of a forest and really close to the lake Rösjön and its Nature reserve. It has a sofa bed, a loft, a bathroom and a kitchenette, the house has a beautiful view from both the room and the loft.

The garden, shared with the family house, is large and we have several patios, garden furniture, grill, wooden sauna, and a jacuzzi. Good to know that it is hilly around the property and there are several steps out on the verandas. There are excellent walking trails around the lake and a beach area just one minute from the property. In winter you will find ski trails and ski slopes just a few minutes away.

Reaching the center of Stockholm takes you only 20 mins by car and 35 mins by bus and subway.

We clean the house after your stay and there are cleaning equipment to use during the stay. Linen and towels are included and you can get extra upon request.

You are free to use the sauna and the jacuzzi anytime. The two highlights for our two kids are called Cindy and Märta, two very kind dogs. The 2000 m2 property is set in beautiful surroundings with horse paddocks and only 200 meters to two bathing places and a boat jetty. One of the bathing areas is ideal for children, with beach, jetty and playground.

The bus stop for buses heading to Stockholm and Vaxholm, is situated just 100 meters from the house.

- "…a house which talks a history in a lot of lovely details!" - "We were in early August for 1 week with 4 people in the beautiful house on Resarö. We felt comfortable there immediately, because the old house has a very special charm through the loving restoration. You can only find something like this in old houses. The equipment is very good, especially in the kitchen there is a huge selection of pots and pans. If you like to cook yourself is very well cared for, especially because there are also many spices and other ingredients. The gas stove works well. In the otherwise large living area there is a small cozy corner with music system with turntable and lots of CD, s and records. If you like making your own music, you can sit in the room next door to the piano, I have spared my family and did not do that! There is something to discover everywhere in this house, it does not get boring here. At night it is absolutely quiet and the beds are comfortable, a little bit too soft I think, but it is only my opinion. The location is very good, the bus stop for the bus to Stockholm and Vaxholm is really close. The bus runs 2 times an hour throughout the day. Very convenient. We bought a weekly ticket. The shop down the street has a very large selection and very good opening hours. The support by Emma, Lars and Anders was very good and uncomplicated. "
