- "Very old building so lots of quirky features like different shaped wooden skirting boards, the bath in our room in need of refurbishment but clean & both sink & toilet looked new, our room was lovely & cosy (a bit too hot at times but preferable to it being cold) Paul the chef & manager friendly & welcoming. All food excellent - locally produced, beautiful presentation & very inventive dishes - the marinated salmon was amazing & the tunnocks tea cake dessert to die for.
