- "We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a broader trip through Germany as we toured Rugen And Usedom. This is a remote hotel within walking distance to the Baltic Sea in the quaint little small town of Devin. The rooms are a decent size for Germany and they were clean and comfortable. The staff spoke little English but were very accommodating and helpful. The restaurant was one of our favorites in Germany with exceptional schnitzel! it was five stars! You can still see this claim here: Hotels.com listing. Unfortunately, this turned out to be highly misleading. False Advertising: The indoor and outdoor pools are not part of the hotel stay. They belong to a separate waterpark, which charges an additional 19€ per person. While the waterpark is marked with “additional fees,” the pools are not clearly separated in the listing—leading us to believe they were part of the included amenities. To make matters worse, the outdoor pool was closed due to construction, something we were not informed of in advance. We decided against visiting the waterpark altogether, as the main attraction was inaccessible and we didn’t feel it was worth the extra fee. Outdated and Unclean: The hotel was built in 1999 and feels like a time capsule from the late 90s. The carpets, curtains, and decor all appear original—and now 26 years later, they are visibly worn and stained. Cleanliness was a concern.
