There are a lot of barking dogs and the walls aren't as soundproof as I had hoped. The views from our balcony were the highlight of our stay. We are from America and our Portuguese speaking skills are poor at best. The staff knew English and answered all our questions. If you have any walking disabilities, this is not the place for you. It is on the side of a steep hill and the parking is a little ways away from the hotel. We didn't see a pool, but they do have one that is a bit of a walk to get to. That area is absolutely beautiful. The Portuguese people are the nicest people we've ever met."
