- "A stop-over whilst visiting Puy du Fou parc. A positive experience all round. Our room was lovely but if being a little picky it was in the eves of the roof of the building and so was very dark - which actually would have been cosy in the winter but on a summer's day.... Restaurant was just too formal and the lights in the dining room way too bright. The food was certainly gourmet but in a funny way it would have worked better if it was less stuffy and arguably more contemporary - a wee bit old-fashioned 'classic' French cuisine which many love but as a family dining experience we felt was too formal."

So as well as being hot the mattress was too hard so our sleep was quite disturbed. We somehow ended up in the back of the hotel but we were able to ask someone in the kitchen who pointed us in the right direction. All in all, I would recommend this hotel if you are planning to visit Puy du Fou."
